Angelina Jolie Already Moving On From Brad Pitt, Inside Her Rumored New Romance With Johnny Depp

Angelina Jolie wasted little time getting over Brad Pitt.

After cutting off all means of communication, the actress has reportedly moved onto to another man. Is the Tomb Raider star secretly dating Johnny Depp?

Hollywood Life is reporting that Jolie doesn’t want anything to do with Pitt and refuses to answer his calls or text messages.

Jolie’s actions, which come after she filed for divorce early last week, have caused Pitt a tremendous amount of heartache.

“He is beside himself and has been crying,” an inside source told the outlet. “He was completely caught off guard and blindsided and had no idea she would do this. Angelina filed the court papers a minute before the courts closed on Monday night. He didn’t have a lawyer or anything.”

On the financial side, it doesn’t look like Pitt’s divorce with Jolie is going to cost him a lot of money. However, Jolie has requested physical custody of their six children, which could spark a drawn-out custody battle.

“Angelina is devastated that it has come to this, but will do everything in her power to protect her family,” the insider stated.

Jolie is reportedly living in a rental home in Malibu while the divorce drama settles.

For his part, Pitt is under investigation by the FBI for reports of child abuse. The FBI has to clear Pitt of the charges before he can legally see his kids.

It’s unclear why Pitt and Jolie decided to part ways, though Hollywood Life is reporting that Jolie reached out to Depp long before she filed for divorce.

Apparently, Jolie is leaning on Depp while she works through the divorce.

“Angelina idolized Johnny for years before she worked with him on The Tourist, and then the pair of them really hit it off on set,” an insider shared. “The two of them have stayed in touch ever since then, and spoke regularly during the storm that surrounded Johnny’s break up with Amber.”

It isn’t clear if Angelina Jolie’s relationship with Depp is only a friendship or if things are turning romantic.

According to Daily Mail, Jolie even hired the same lawyer as Depp for the divorce.

“They have been speaking about the situation, and Angelina hired Johnny’s lawyer to represent her based on the advice that he has given her,” an insider told the outlet.

Depp split with Amber Heard this past May in the midst of abuse allegations.

The couple reached an agreement after Heard’s restraining order was lifted. Heard received $7 million in the divorce, though she reportedly gave it all away to charity.

Meanwhile, Pitt hopes that his connections with Jolie’s family will help bridge the growing gap between him and his family.

“Brad has made an effort to make contact and is keen to try and improve the situation between them,” an insider close to Pitt stated. “He’s hoping his good relationship with Angelina’s family will help build bridges. He’s spoken to her dad Jon and hopes he may be able to play peacemaker. It’s a very tricky time for the family but Brad hasn’t given up hope yet.”

Along with allegations of child abuse, Pitt has been plagued with reports of an affair with his Allied co-star, Marion Cotillard.

The two actors have denied any sort of real-life romance, but the rumors were apparently enough to spark a fit of jealousy with Jolie.

“Angie hated all the female attention Brad would get,” an insider explained. “She is very jealous and insecure, despite being one of the most beautiful women in the world.”

At the same time, Wonder Wall revealed that marital problems surfaced after Jolie took her children to war-torn countries around the word, a move that Pitt failed to endorse.

Until more information is revealed, the drama will continue to unfold in the coming months.
