Ariana Grande Teaming Up With Little Mix For Top Secret Duet ‘Touch?’

Is Ariana Grande about to team up with Little Mix for a new duet?

According to reports, Ariana and the British girl band could be teaming up for a top secret collaboration called “Touch” that’s rumored to serve as the X Factor winners’ upcoming U.S. single.

After months of speculation about the song, which the girl group, made up of Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson, previously confirmed didn’t make their 2015 album Get Weird, Little Mix fans are now claiming that “Touch” will be released sometime next year and will see the girls duet with Ariana.

Sugarscape is speculating that Grande and Little Mix have already collaborated on the duet, which is being touted as the band’s next single after the release of their upcoming track “Shout Out To My Ex.”

“‘Touch’ featuring Ariana Grande is true,” Little Mix Twitter update account @KeepingUpWithLM tweeted out of the duet on September 26, before following up their initial tweet by adding, “It’s likely ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ will be the international lead single (excluding the U.S.),” suggesting that “Touch” could be a U.S. only single for the girls.

The big Grande and Little Mix duet tease got fans seriously excited on social media, as a slew of Twitter users flocked to the site to express their excitement for the collaboration that could potentially see the light of day in early 2017.

“These rumors about ‘Touch’ and Little Mix ft. Ariana better be true,” @_MendesMixer_ tweeted out amid the duet speculation, while Twitter user @theNworld wrote of the potential Ariana and Little Mix collaboration, “Imagine the vocals we would get if Little Mix ever made a duet with Ariana Grande.”

Notably, the Ariana Grande and Little Mix duet rumors hit fever pitch just days after Grande took to social media to announce that the girl band, who shot to fame after winning the U.K.’s X Factor back in 2011, would be joining her on the North American leg of her upcoming 2017 “Dangerous Woman Tour.”

Grande announced the exciting news on social media, telling her 85 million followers in an Instagram post that she found the girls, and fellow tour mate Victoria Monet, to be “incredibly talented.”

“Thrilled to be sharing my #DangerousWomanTour stage [with] some incredibly talented & indeed dangerous women [Victoria Monet] & [Little Mix],” Grande captioned a shot of a cartoon version of the girl band.

Little Mix also returned the favor on social media, taking to Twitter to tell fans that they were “excited” to be hitting the road with Ariana when Grande performs more than 35 shows across the U.S. and Canada between February and April 2017.

“We are so excited to be supporting [Ariana] in the US & seeing all of our American Mixers!!!” the girl band tweeted of their upcoming gig with Ariana, which will see them tour the U.S. for the first time since they joined Demi Lovato on her “Neon Lights Tour” in 2014.

Ariana and Little Mix have so far stayed tight-lipped when it comes to rumors claiming that the ladies will be collaborating on the song “Touch,” though J-14 revealed that the band did confirm the track’s existence when asked in a recent question and answer session to sing a snippet of a song that did not make their Get Weird album.

Long before Grande was linked to the track, the girls appeared to sing part of “Touch” for an intimate crowd at a recent event where they admitted that they actually “loved” the song and teased that the potential Ariana duet was “really good” and should have made their 2015 album.
