‘Dancing With The Stars’ Is Helping Amber Rose Slim Down, Plus Why She Still Says The Show Is Rigged

All that shaking is paying off!

Only two weeks in and Amber Rose is already shedding weight on Dancing With the Stars. How has ABC’s hit dancing competition helped Rose lose weight?

“I feel like I’m getting supertoned,” Rose shared during her podcast this week. “I feel like I’ve lost probably 10 pounds, maybe 8 pounds already. It’s serious!”

According to Us Weekly, Rose and her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, train for hours every day rehearsing their weekly routines.

“People don’t understand how much work goes into it,” the model continued. “You’re with your partner four to five hours a day. Then you get home, you’re on the phone with them, like, what you need to work on, what you need to do. Then you go to the ballroom and it’s all the other celebrities and other dancers — it really is like a family.”

Despite all the hard work, Radar Online reports that Rose still believes Dancing With the Stars is rigged.

Why does Rose think the mirror ball winner is already decided?

“Amber saw the way Laurie Hernandez was given the top spot in the GMA cast announcement and it made her think that they are playing favorites… Amber feels like she is up against the system. That the show could be fixed, and not in her favor.”

While she might believe the odds aren’t in her favor, Rose is determined to her maximum effort each and every week.

“Amber knows that the judges have had trouble with Maks, but she is determined to not give them anything to criticize,” the source added.

Based on her weight loss and intense training regime, it sounds like Rose is trying her best to win it all.

Luckily, hard work isn’t the only thing Rose has going for her.

According to Enstarz, Rose’s past work experience gives her a leg up on her Dancing With the Stars competition.

“Amber was a stripper so she has some serious moves,” the insider said. “She’s definitely a good dancer.”

Still, Rose has a few reservations about the judges.

“Amber is very competitive,” the insider concluded. “She wants to win and win on her own merit, but she’s afraid that it isn’t enough.”

Rigged or not, Rose is hard at work with her partner to ensure that she makes it far into the competition.

Speaking of working with Chmerkovskiy, Rose also discussed how awkward some of the training sessions could be, especially when his fiancée, Peta Murgatroyd, is on hand.

“It does become awkward when she’s at the rehearsal and she’s like, ‘Listen, vagina and balls, they need to touch or you’re not doing it right,'” she shared. “I’m like, ‘Uh, this is your fiancé! This is weird! But it’s all for the greater good of dancing, I guess. That’s how it is.”

Fans have long suspected that partners hook up behind the scenes. Indeed, even Rose admitted that she thought the same thing before going on the show.

“When I used to watch the show, I’m like, ‘Damn! They’re really affectionate!'” she stated. “They’re probably all f**king each other and **t.”

Although a little romance between some of the teams is expected, nothing of the sort is happening between Rose and Chmerkovskiy.

After all, Chmerkovskiy and Murgatroyd are getting ready for the birth of their new baby and have plans to wed in the near future.

Murgatroyd won Dancing With the Stars last season with Nyle DiMarco, but is sitting this year out while she has the baby.

Fans can watch Rose and Chmerkovskiy in action when new episodes of DWTS air Monday and Tuesday nights on ABC.
