‘Destiny’ Weekly Reset For Sept 27, Winter’s Run Nightfall Plus New Artifacts [Update: Nightfall Change]
The second week of Destiny: Rise of Iron returns to some familiar ground with the Nightfall as Winter’s Run. Still, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners can expect a fresh batch of bounties, activities, plus Iron Lord Artifacts for sale from Tyra Karn at Felwinter’s Peak.
As a reminder, players will need to complete Heroic Deeds activities for Tyra Karn in the Plaguelands. This will allow Guardians to acquire an Iron Lord’s Legacy, which can be traded in for one of the Iron Lord Artifacts. Note that you can only obtain one Artifact per week.
Meanwhile, those that have completed the Gjallarhorn quest should have some fun with the Heroic Strike playlist this week.
Update: Bungie announced the Nightfall Strike has been changed to Fallen S.A.B.E.R. due to issues with the Strike rewards for Winter’s Run.
This week’s Weekly Nightfall Strike has been changed to the Fallen S.A.B.E.R. Strike to mitigate ongoing issues with Skeleton Key drops.

Nightfall — Fallen S.A.B.E.R.
Old Russia, Earth Rush to the aid of the AI Warmind Rasputin as he broadcasts a plea for help across the system.
Modifiers
- Epic — Heavily shielded and highly aggressive enemies appear in great numbers.
- Berserk — Minions of the Darkness won’t flinch, even after massive damage.
- Small Arms — Primary Weapon damage is favored.
- Chaff — Player radar is disabled.
- Airborne — Players deal more damage while in the air.
Weekly SIVA Crisis Heroic Strikes
Modifiers
- Heroic — Enemies appear in greater numbers and are more aggressive
- Solar Burn — Solar damage from any source is greatly increased.
- Small Arms — Primary Weapon damage is favored.
- Ironclad — More enemies have shields.

King’s Fall Raid Challenge Mode — Oryx (Guide)

The Destiny King’s Fall Raid challenge caps off this week with special conditions to beat Oryx. The Challenge mode condition is that players must detonate 16 Blight bombs at the same time to bring Oryx’s health down from full to almost zero.
The rewards for Normal Mode are a guaranteed 320 Helmet or Primary Weapon, 320 Artifact, and a Calcified Fragment. The Hard mode loot is the same as normal, plus a 330 Helmet or Primary Weapon, a 330 Artifact, Emblem, and a new Ship.

Court of Oryx (Guide) — Tier 3: Thalnok
This mini-Crota boss plays similar to the final Dark Below Raid encounter in Destiny, with a couple of twists. It will require teamwork, as well. Like Crota, the only way to kill Thalnok is to bring his shields down to force him to kneel while a player whacks him with a sword dropped by a Knight.
