Jennifer Aniston may be married to Justin Theroux, but a new report claims she could be on the verge of a reunion with her ex-husband Brad Pitt.
Following Angelina Jolie’s divorce filing last Monday, a report suggested Pitt’s divorce may “reunite” him with Jennifer Aniston.
Pitt and Jolie’s split could give “[Jennifer Aniston] back the husband she lost plus the kids she can’t seem to have on her own,” Celebrity Dirty Laundry told readers, according to a September 26 report by Gossip Cop. “Jennifer would be a wonderful step-mother to Brad’s six kids since she’s been unable to have any of her own with Justin Theroux.”

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were married from 2000 to 2005, when Aniston filed for divorce amid rumors of an on-set affair between Pitt and his Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star Jolie. Weeks later, Pitt and Jolie confirmed their romance with a joint outing in Kenya, and in 2006, they welcomed their first child together, daughter Shiloh, now 10. The couple are also parents to 8-year-old twins, Vivienne and Knox, and adopted children Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, and Zahara, 11.
“[Jennifer Aniston] and Justin are on the rocks,” and with “talk of a split,” she is “focused on her ex,” the site continued, adding that the couple may be ready to “mutually” end their marriage and go back to their exes.
Last week, a source claimed Jennifer Aniston’s husband was back in touch with his ex-girlfriend, Heidi Bivens, which had understandably upset the Friends actress. In addition, the outlet noted, Jennifer Aniston and her husband had been unsuccessful in their reported efforts to start a family.
“[Jennifer Aniston] is ready to settle down and raise a family,” but she “waited too long” to have her own children, the outlet alleged. “It would be sweet revenge, and fulfill that yearning to have a child, if Jennifer ended up helping raise Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s kids.”
In response to the Celebrity Dirty Laundry report, a source close to Jennifer Aniston confirmed to Gossip Cop that the story was “untrue.”

Last week, after Pitt and Jolie’s divorce was confirmed, Jennifer Aniston reportedly claimed that the actress had told a friend the split was “karma” for what Pitt had done to her years ago.
“[Jennifer Aniston] always got the sense that something would happen with them eventually,” the source shared with Us Weekly after Pitt’s divorce news broke. “She didn’t feel that Angelina was truly the one who Brad was meant to stay with. She always felt that Angelina was too complex for him. He’s a pretty simple guy.”
A second insider added, “[Jennifer Aniston] does wish Brad luck and the best. She feels like she’s happy, and she wants him to be happy too. Jen does not hold on to any negativity from her marriage to Brad.”
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux tied the knot in August of last year after about four years of dating. In 2012, the couple purchased a home together in the Bel Air area of Los Angeles and after getting engaged a short time after, they got married at the estate surrounded by their close friends and members of their family.
Since the couple married, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have faced ongoing rumors of a split and others claiming they could be expecting a child. However, at this point, the pair appears to be happily married with no immediate plans to start a family.
