Arizona Cardinals Vs. Los Angeles Rams: 5 Bold Predictions For NFL Week 4

The Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Rams are set to face off in an NFC West showdown this Sunday in NFL Week 4 action. It is expected to be a good game, especially with the Cardinals looking to catch up to the Rams in the divisional standings. Both teams have shown flashes of big potential this season, but only one can come out with a victory this week.

Bruce Arians and the Cardinals were expected to be serious Super Bowl contenders this season. They lost in the NFC Championship game last year to the Carolina Panthers. Unfortunately, they have gotten off to a very slow start this season and hold a 1-2 record.

Jeff Fisher and the Rams, on the other hand, got off to a rough start in Week 1 but have won their last two games. Los Angeles wasn’t considered to be a serious threat in the NFC coming into the season, but perhaps that expectation should be changed. Having football back in Los Angeles has been a great thing so far for the NFL.

Needless to say, a lot is on the line for both teams. Add in the rivalry aspect of the matchup, and it should be a very entertaining game to watch.

All of that being said, what five bold predictions can be made for the Cardinals vs. Rams game this week?

Arizona Will Force at Least Four Turnovers

If there is one thing that Arizona fans can count on, it is the fact that their defense is full of playmakers. Case Keenum and the Rams’ offense are in for a long week this week. Arizona knows that they have to get a win this week, and their defense will do their part by forcing at least four turnovers.

Todd Gurley Will Carry the Offense with 120 Yards, Two Touchdowns

Because the Rams will not be able to trust Keenum against the Arizona defense, Todd Gurley will have to be a workhorse. He will do just that and will finish with 120 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. It won’t be easy, but these are the games that Gurley can prove himself as an elite NFL running back.

Carson Palmer Will Bounce Back with 300 Yards, Four Touchdowns

After arguably playing the worst game of his Cardinals’ career in Week 3 against the Buffalo Bills, Carson Palmer will bounce back strong against the Rams. He will throw for at least 300 yards to go along with four touchdowns. Palmer hasn’t played that badly throughout his career in Arizona, and he will look to come back in a big way this week.

Case Keenum Gets Sacked at Least Five Times

Los Angeles simply isn’t going to have a lot of success in the passing game this week. Case Keenum will struggle with turnover issues and will end up getting sacked at least five times. Arizona is going to be extremely aggressive with their defensive game plan, and that means quite a few bumps and bruises for Keenum to deal with on Monday.

Arizona Breaks Through and Wins Their Second Game of the Season

If the Cardinals want to be serious contenders in the NFC, this week is as close to a must-win as it can get early in the season. Starting the season 1-3 wouldn’t be easy for the Cardinals to come back from. When everything is said and done, Arizona will end up winning in dominating fashion.

Expect to see the Cardinals take control of this game from the opening kickoff. They will shut the Rams’ offense down, and Palmer will lead a dynamic offensive attack.
