Patrick Swayze’s Widow Lisa Niemi Finds Love Again

Patrick Swayze’s widow Lisa Niemi has moved on with her love life since the death of her husband in 2009, finding a new man in her life.

As People magazine has reported, Patrick Swayze’s widow has been seeing jeweler Albert DePrisco after meeting him through a mutual friend at a celebration of her birthday.

But after being married to Patrick Swayze for 34 years, Lisa Niemi isn’t in too much of a rush to find a new love, the representative said.

“It’s new, and they’re taking it slow,” the rep says.

Patrick Swayze’s widow has kept the actor close to her heart since his death three years ago. After staying by his side throughout his battle with cancer, Lisa helped memorialize Swayze with a wax statue in 2011.

“It became clear to me that someone had put a lot of love into this, for a man I loved so very much,” she said at the time.

The couple had been incredibly close throughout the course of their relationship as well. They were childhood sweethearts who bucked the Hollywood tradition of failed marriages to remain together.

They often worked together as well, Hello noted. Lisa Niemi is a talented dancer and choreographer and helped the Hollywood heartthrob Patrick Swayze master the iconic dance moves in movies like Dirty Dancing.

Patricke Swayze’s widow had previously predicted her ability to move on, telling People in 2010, “I know I’m stronger now. The fact that I’ve had some good days definitely gives me hope that I can have more.”
