With The Birth Of Adam Levine And Behati Prinsloo’s Baby Girl, When Can Maroon 5 Fans Expect To See Them In Concert Again?

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo welcomed the birth of their first child, daughter Dusty Rose, last week. And while fans of Maroon 5 are overjoyed for their front man and Voice star, the question on everyone’s minds now has shifted to when they can catch their favorite band on the road again.

As reported by E! Online, Levine and Victoria’s Secret Angel Prinsloo officially became parents on Thursday. “It’s awesome. I’m going to be a dad. S**t, I’m excited,” the Maroon 5 singer told E! News a week before Behati gave birth, barely able to hide his enthusiasm. “I’m going to be a f**king dad. I’m going to spoil [Behati].”

He reiterated his feelings with Entertainment Tonight months before the birth announcement.

“I’m ready to be a dad. You’re born to be a parent, that’s what we’re here for, really. All the other s*** is great, but it’s not what we’re here for.”

The couple also wasted no time posting a pic of their new favorite girl on Instagram, formally announcing her name within the caption of Behati’s post. “Words can’t describe???? Dusty Rose Levine 9/21/16,” the caption read.

And while Adam will almost certainly take some more time off from Maroon 5’s tour to be with his daughter, fans are eager to catch the group in concert, considering the current tour was the only way to see the popular rock band in North America in 2016. As reported by the Daily Mail, Maroon 5 had to cancel several gigs leading up to the birth of Dusty Rose, releasing a statement before her birth regarding the upcoming changes.

Levine himself took to Instagram that week to post a video apologizing for the changes to Maroon 5’s schedule.

“Due to the upcoming birth of my child, we’ve had to move around 7 dates,” Levine captioned the video. “We’re very sorry for the inconvenience and I look forward to seeing you all very soon.”

He also elaborated further within the video itself, appearing apologetic.

“Sadly, it’s par for the course with having a baby soon. It’s life, and it’s beautiful, but it can be complicated, and I apologize for any convenience.”

And if it seems like fans might be disappointed that the band’s tour will be delayed, it’s a feeling shared by his band-mates as well. Guitarist James Valentine, as he mentioned in a recent interview with Go Knoxville, would rather be touring than sitting at home in wait.

“I start to get a little antsy when I’m home for too long,” Valentine revealed as he discussed Levine’s role on NBC’s The Voice and how it took time away from the band’s touring. “That’s been a little bit of adjustment. We still tour a lot. We were on the road for 10 years pretty much all the time when we weren’t making a record. I love being on the road. I love the routine. I love waking up in a new city and it’s great feeling being on stage. Once you get that buzz from being on stage it never goes away.”

Though in this case, I’m sure Valentine and his band-mates are ecstatic for Adam and his wife and know that.

According to the Maroon 5 website, their tour looks to pick up on October 3rd in St. Louis, followed by stints in Nebraska, Denver, and Salt Lake City. Plenty of time for Levine and Behati Prinsloo to bond with the new daughter Dusty Rose.
