Jennifer Lawrence And Adele: Pals To Spend Thanksgiving Together? Learn Details About The Star-Studded Holiday

Adele has arrived in Los Angeles to a new American lifestyle and it seems as though she’s taking to her new setup quite well. The songstress is even already planning her holidays with star pals, who are eager to enjoy a festive Thanksgiving with the talent.

The Mirror shared that upon arrival in Los Angeles, Adele has received a number of offers from star friends to join them in celebrating the annual holiday, which usual includes a delicious feast. Such invites have come from songwriter Ryan Tedder and his wife, Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda, as well as Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence.

Lawrence reportedly lives nearby to where Adele now resides and the close friends have chatted about Adele joining the Silver Linings Playbook starlet and her family, who hail from Kentucky, for the big occasion.

As noted, Adele has been doing her best to adapt to her U.S. life after buying a Beverly Hills home over the summer, the next step to truly adapting to the American way is to enjoy a good Thanksgiving celebration.

A pal of Adele’s spoke about the singer’s intention to really immerse herself in American culture.

“Adele wants to really throw herself into the American life now that she has a base here. Her plans to get to grips with the Thanksgiving celebration which is a far bigger deal than Christmas in the States.”

Lawrence is ready to help Adele be a part of the tradition and is excited to host a proper Thanksgiving with friends and family, as the source continues.

“Jen wants to show her the real family treat. She wants to throw a party at her pad, having her family fly in to give it a proper family feel.”

This annual holiday happens on November 24, which is shortly after the superstar completes her world tour in Arizona. The holiday is often a bigger deal for many families in the United States than Christmas and other holidays, usually involving a family sit down dinner and turkey or roast. However, Jen may need to search alternate recipes seeing as Adele revealed in 2012 that she’s said goodbye to meat, instead opting for a vegetarian diet.

Jennifer Lawrence is always sure to be a magnet to some of the hippest female celebs in entertainment seeing as she’s entirely a girl’s girl and just plain fun to be around. Lawrence and funny girl Amy Schumer seemed to bond as new besties immediately and the two quickly began brainstorming for a funny flick within which each would star. The ladies began writing the script and even announced in early 2016 that they had finished the first draft for the film, yet not much else has been heard since this point. It did sound as though it was going to be one hilarious project that fans and film-goers, who enjoy comedy, wouldn’t want to miss.

In an interview earlier in the year Jen and Amy each spoke about the plot for their screenplay separately. Elle reminds of their words. Jen shared about how they both are portraying “messes” in the film.

“Amy, in this movie… she has it very together. It’s her lifelong dream to be a flight attendant. She works at the airport. And I’m a mess…there’s really not really boys in it.”

The Oscar-winner then spoke of the process to complete the script.

“It was hilarious, because when you’re writing a comedy it’s not good enough unless you’re laughing out loud… So I’m laughing at my pages and I’m laughing at her pages and thinking that the whole process is hilarious. I’m thinking we’ve got a pretty funny, good movie.”

Clearly both Lawrence and Schumer are busy ladies, but we hope they will get back to making this movie happen, as it’s sure to be hilarious.
