Jennifer Aniston Stays Mum On Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie’s Divorce, But Feels It’s Karma?

Jennifer Aniston was seen for the first time since Brad Pitt’s divorce was announced on Friday.

In photos shared by Entertainment Tonight on September 23, Jennifer Aniston, 47, was seen in New York City wearing a broad-brimmed hat as photographers snapped away.

According to the report, Jennifer Aniston wore comfy jeans, a printed T-shirt, tennis shoes, and a black jacket as she walked behind what appeared to be a security guard in the Big Apple. The outlet explained that Aniston’s presence in the city is likely due to the upcoming promotion of her husband Justin Theroux’s new film, The Girl on the Train.

A short time after Jennifer Aniston was spotted, the Daily Mail shared photos of Justin Theroux arriving to New York City in black leather jacket, grey pants, and black boots.

Although Jennifer Aniston hasn’t publicly addressed Pitt’s divorce from Jolie, an Us Weekly source earlier this week claimed she felt the breakup was “karma.”

“Yeah, that’s karma for you!” Jennifer Aniston reportedly told a longtime pal as they discussed Pitt’s split.

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were married for four years when Pitt and his Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star, Jolie, began facing rumors of an affair. Although the reports were initially denied, Aniston ultimately filed for divorce in early 2005 and just weeks later, Pitt and Jolie stepped out in Kenya with Jolie’s oldest son, Maddox, now 15.

“[Jennifer Aniston] always got the sense that something would happen with them eventually. She didn’t feel that Angelina was truly the one who Brad was meant to stay with. She always felt that Angelina was too complex for him. He’s a pretty simple guy,” a source told the magazine.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie welcomed their first child in 2016, daughter Shiloh, now 10, and later welcomed twins Vivienne and Knox, now 8. The couple also has three adopted children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, and Zahara, 11. However, just two years after Pitt and Jolie tied the knot on August 23, 2014, Jolie filed for divorce and requested full physical custody of their kids.

Jennifer Aniston “admittedly feels sort of satisfied about Brad and Angelina’s split,” but “never wanted this for them or wished this on them,” added a second source.

“[Jennifer Aniston] does wish Brad luck and the best. She feels like she’s happy, and she wants him to be happy too,” the second insider explained. “Jen does not hold on to any negativity from her marriage to Brad.”

As for Jennifer Aniston’s own marriage to Justin Theroux, sources claimed recently that they were on the rocks. On September 22, an In Touch Weekly report suggested Aniston and Theroux were on the brink of a split — and said Aniston’s insecurities from her marriage to Pitt were to blame.

“[Jen Aniston] still harbors huge trust issues from her past relationships, including from her broken marriage to Brad,” a source revealed. “Jen’s told pals she lives in constant fear that Justin is going to run off with another woman and leave her heartbroken like Brad did.”

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux began dating one another in 2011 as they filmed Wanderlust. One year later, they purchased a $22 million home in Bel Air, California, where they tied the knot on August 5, 2015.

Ever since Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux got married, they’ve been faced with reports of an impending split and also of a possible pregnancy. However, despite the ongoing rumors, Jennifer Aniston has no plans to part ways with her husband and is not pregnant at this time.
