Gwen Stefani Is Helping Angelina Jolie Cope With Her Very Public Split From Brad Pitt [Report]

Is Angelina Jolie leaning on Gwen Stefani following her public divorce from Brad Pitt?

Stefani and Jolie are long-time friends, and reports indicate that Stefani is now helping Jolie deal with the separation. What does Pitt have to say about it all?

Hollywood life is reporting that Stefani and ex-husband Gavin Rossdale used to hang out with Jolie and Pitt all the time, and the No Doubt alum rekindled their friendship as soon as she heard about Jolie’s divorce.

Stefani certainly knows how to handle a public split, so it isn’t surprising that Jolie would ask for some advice.

The singer broke up with Rossdale back in the summer of 2015 and handled the divorce without letting it spiral out of control.

In fact, Stefani’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, is also helping Jolie with her divorce, so the women clearly have more than a few things in common.

While Rossdale’s cheating ways caused Stefani’s split, there is no evidence that Pitt was unfaithful.

Rumors about Pitt’s romance with Marion Cotillard have plagued the couple for months. In response to the divorce news, the actress released an official statement denying any claims that she had an affair with Pitt.

Instead, it sounds like Jolie had issues with Pitt’s parenting and his alleged drug and alcohol problems.

Jolie isn’t requesting any kind of monetary support from the World War Z star, but she is seeking physical custody of their six kids.

This is a different route than Stefani took with Rossdale, though she definitely knows how messy a divorce can be whenever kids are involved.

Meanwhile, Celeb Dirty Laundry is reporting that Stefani did not reach out to Jolie after her split. The two women have not been spotted together in public since back in 2011 during an afternoon playdate in London.

Indeed, Jolie hasn’t been spotted with friends for a long time, leading many to believe that her friendship with Stefani died out a long time ago.

Even more, Gossip Cop revealed that Gwen Stefani was actually good friends with Pitt instead of Jolie. Stefani invited Pitt to her wedding with Rossdale back in 2002, not Jolie.

Until more information is released, it doesn’t look like Stefani is helping Jolie through this difficult time.

With Stefani’s involvement unknown, Daily Mail reports that Pitt tried to save his marriage, but ultimately failed because of Jolie’s friends in politics.

Pitt allegedly characterized Jolie’s friends as a “coven,” and believes they had her brainwashed against him.

Pitt leveled his accusations against Arminka Helic and Chloe Dalton, whom Jolie hired to help out her political career.

“Brad sees the women as a coven. He was furious at some of Arminka’s decisions,” an inside source revealed. “He felt she and Chloe, who seemed to travel everywhere with the family, were brainwashing Angelina from the start. The rows they had at the London house were legendary. It was utter carnage.”

Things got so bad that Pitt eventually felt like an outsider in his own home.

“They have always made decisions together – suddenly it was Angelina making them with her two advisers,” the source continued. “He felt he was married to a politician all of a sudden.”

Jolie works closely with her two advisors and reportedly pays them over $300,000 a year for their services.

Despite Jolie’s friends, Pitt tried to give Jolie one last chance.

“She’s crazy, but I still love her,” he reportedly shared.

Pitt has yet to comment on the rumors surrounding Jolie’s top two advisors. He also hasn’t addressed the reports of his alcohol and drug abuse but did state that he is concentrating on the well-being of his family at this time.
