Liam Neeson, Ethan Hawke Do ‘Real Housewives Of New Jersey’ [Video]
Liam Neeson and Ethan Hawke donned a pair of wigs to re-enact the now infamous brouhaha between Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members Caroline Manzo and Teresa Giudice, and, yes, we have the video.
Neeson and Hawke were guests on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live to promote their upcoming films (Taken 2 and Sinister, respectively). At host Andy Cohen’s request, the two were given wigs and a transcript of Manzo and Giudice’s infamous “three rolls of blubber” fight. The two veteran actors didn’t even seem to question it, quickly donning the wigs and getting into character (though Neeson took a detour into “Zeus” for a “Release the Kraken!” stinger).
With Hawke as Manzo and Neeson as Giudice, it becomes readily apparent that the two must be closet fans of Real Housewives of New Jersey. The re-enacted fight is spot-on, though we favor Neeson’s direct interpretation over Hawke’s slightly hammy delivery.
Still, this clip sees Hawke moving up a few in our book. That’s not to say that we aren’t already avowed fans, with special regard to his work with Julie Delpy and Richard Linklater (Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, and the upcoming Before Midnight — drop whatever you’re doing and go rent the first two).
Neeson? Well, he’s always been top dog in our book. Always.
