Georgia Vs. Ole Miss: Bold Predictions For Week 4 Of College Football Season

According to ESPN, the 12th ranked Georgia Bulldogs will travel to Oxford, Mississippi, to face the 23rd ranked Ole Miss Rebels. The undefeated Bulldogs are coming into this game as a six-point underdog on Saturday. The game will be televised on ESPN at 11:00 a.m. Central.

Last week, the Bulldogs pulled off a comeback victory over the Missouri Tigers. Georgia was led by their quarterback Jacob Eason. The true freshman completed 29 passes on 55 attempts. Eason had 308 yards to go along with three touchdowns and one interception. Junior wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie caught the game-winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter.

The Rebels are coming off a home loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide. The final score was 48-43. Ole Miss almost pulled off a comeback victory. Quarterback Chad Kelly led the way for the Rebels. The senior completed 26 passes on 40 attempts. Kelly threw for 421 yards to go along with three touchdowns. He also had 43 yards rushing.

Ole Miss has had issues with finishing a couple games this season. The Rebels had a 15-point lead over the Florida State Seminoles. They allowed them to come back and win the game. At one point in the game vs Alabama, they were up 24-3 and allowed the Tide to get on a roll. Ole Miss almost made a comeback to win the game but came up short.

For the Rebels to beat Georgia, they will need Chad Kelly to have an amazing game. So far this season, Ole Miss has turned over the ball seven times with Kelly being responsible for six of those giveaways. They have one of the best tight ends in college football in Evan Engram. He had 302 yards on 20 receptions to go with two touchdowns.

Ole Miss will look to exploit Georgia’s vulnerable defense. The Bulldogs have allowed over 214 yards a game to the opposing quarterbacks.

The Bulldogs have had plenty of close games so far this season. Georgia is ranked 12th in the nation and remains undefeated.

Georgia has all the tools to beat Ole Miss on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs are led by a very talented trio. Quarterback Jacob Eason has done a good job so far leading the team. Eason has completed 48 completions on 87 attempts. He had 643 yards to go with five touchdowns. Three of those touchdowns came from the Missouri game.

Junior running back Nick Chubb is the catalyst that makes the Bulldogs’ offense go. Chubb is 11th in the nation in rushing yards this season. He has 365 yards on 71 carries to go along with three touchdowns. Chubb is averaging five yards per carry. Most of his yards have came from the first game of the year. Chubb had 222 yards and two touchdowns.

Junior wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie has been a reliable target for Jacob Eason so far. McKenzie has started off hot this season. He is 18th in the nation in receiving yards. McKenzie has 305 yards on 18 receptions to go with four touchdowns. He will be one of the key factors for Georgia to win this game against Ole Miss.

Ole Miss and Georgia have not played each other since 2012. The Bulldogs have won 10 straight games against the Rebels. Georgia will look to continue that streak this weekend. With the Bulldogs coming in as the underdogs, some people are expecting them to lose. Chad Kelly can get hot for the Rebels, but Nick Chubb and Georgia can limit the amount of touches for Ole Miss. The Bulldogs have plenty of weapons to win this game.
