‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Blackout In Salem Brings Tension, Plus Will Steve And Kayla Reunite?

Days of Our Lives spoilers are finally here, and it looks like tensions are running high in Salem. As we know, “the terrible trio,” Clyde Weston, Orpheus aka Milo Harp, and Xander Cook, have all escaped from prison. The trio escaped so they can cause havoc for the residents of Salem, but specifically, so Orpheus can target Steve and Kayla’s family. In addition to Steve and Kayla, we know that Orpheus’ targets include Roman Brady, John Black, and Marlena Evans.

Steve and Kayla have been through the ringer as a couple. The pair has been on and off for years, but as of 2012, they’re officially divorced. That said, this new torment by Orpheus, Clyde, and Xander, may bring them closer together. Aside from her complicated relationship with Steve, Kayla was recently hospitalized after a serious injury, which causes both Steve and their son, Joey, anxiety, and ultimately leads to a race as both try to get to Kayla’s side in the hospital.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal, via Celeb Dirty Laundry, that Steve will bring Kayla home from the hospital. Does this mean that Kayla and Steve might reunite for good? We know that this DOOL power couple has a huge history of breaking up and getting back together, so anything can happen between these two. It’s said that Steve has Kayla on his mind, and he wants to be there for her as she recovers from surgery.

However, when Steve leaves Kayla alone in the house with their son, Joey, that’s when the two become targets for Orpheus and company. The escaped convicts will strike when Steve is out to get Kayla’s prescription. This is when the terrible trio takes the opportunity to break into the house. When Steve finally returns, he’s thrown into a hostage situation, but he keeps his cool until he decides to take charge to save his family. That said, his decision to take matters into his own hands might end in gunfire. Blasting News reported, Kayla is said to be “struck with fear” when it looks like Steve might be dead. Could this mean she will realize her feelings never went away?

Fans seem to be on board with a Kayla and Steve reunion.

As the Inquisitr reported, Days of Our Lives spoilers recently swirled that Kayla and Steve aren’t the only pair to be affected by the blackout in Salem. This event may finally bring Gabi and Chad together, which would be the ultimate betrayal for JJ and Abigail. Chad and Gabi are locked in the panic room when the blackout occurs, which means they’re stuck together for better or for worse. In the case of Chad and Gabi, it might be for the better. Spoilers indicate that Chad is forced to console Gabi after she flies into a panic about the safety of her daughter with the three dangerous men out and about.

It’s said Gabi senses that Arianna needs her, but she feels helpless because she and Chad are stuck together in the panic room. Chad is by Gabi’s side and reassures her, even though he has the same worries for his son, Thomas. Could this moment of comfort lead to a romance between the two?

That’s not all as there are plenty of Days of Our Lives spoilers to go around when it comes to the blackout in Salem. Claire sneaks out of the Horton house, even though she originally had plans to stay with Ciara, Jennifer, Julie, and JJ. Although Claire was warned by Marlena that she might be on Orpheus’ target list, she decides to ignore her. Claire might have to deal with the consequences, as it’s likely that she will be kidnapped by the three men.
