Julianne Moore Has $127K Worth Of Jewelry Stolen

Actress Julianne Moore had more than $127,000 worth of jewelry stolen from her New York apartment in the West Village.

The $127,000 worth of jewelry consisted of 10 pricey pieces. Seven of those were from Cartier. The most expensive, according to the NY Post, was a $33,000 Cartier platinum diamond bracelet. Four watches worth $77,000 were also taken.

The jewelry theft occurred between June 6 and August 28 when the actor was away filming the remake of Carrie in Toronto.

ABC reports that about 20 workers had access to Moore’s home, which was undergoing renovations at the time of the theft.

There were no security cameras at the scene, and investigators were unable to uncover any evidence relating to the theft. So far, no arrests have been made.

Neither Moore or her husband Bart Freundlich have commented on the situation.

Moore just won an Emmy award for playing Sarah Palin in the HBO movie Game Change. The award winning actress is currently filming a remake to the Steven King classic Carrie with Chloë Grace Moretz.
