But now a bombshell has exploded that pretty image, and amid the shocking news that Jolie filed for divorce comes the revelation that Pitt was “blindsided” by the situation and is feeling “furious” about the accusations against him as a result of the divorce.

With rumors circulating about the causes of their split, including anger issues and substance abuse problems, Brad is “furious” about how a situation that he wanted to keep “low-key” has changed into reports that circulated around the globe, reported the Telegraph.
Pitt is reportedly concerned about the six children that the couple has been co-parenting, and a source cited by the Telegraph revealed that he worries his children are now at risk because of how Angelina handled their divorce. Brad’s focus now is to battle his estranged wife’s request for sole physical custody.
Some conflicting motivations for the split shocker appear to have emerged from the barrage of reports about Brangelina’s divorce, ranging from politics to allegations of substance abuse and anger issues claims to parenting styles, and even cheating. However, TMZ reports that the 3-pronged “trigger” for the divorce was the clash over the kids, anger issues, and substance abuse claims.
In the legal documents that Jolie filed Monday, she cited irreconcilable differences and requested physical custody for the six children, with Brad given visitation rights rather than joint physical custody. That request is viewed as providing insight into one of the key reasons for their clash, with sources telling TMZ that Angelina was “extremely upset” with Pitt’s parenting style.
Beyond her outrage over the way that Brad parented their children, Jolie also was “fed up” with Pitt’s alleged consumption of weed, “possibly alcohol,” and what she reportedly views as “an anger problem,” explained the sources. The combination of the parenting style clash, alleged substance abuse, and anger issues triggered her decision to file.

As for the rumors of a “third person” involved? TMZ‘s sources denied those reports, revealing that the key causes of the divorce are Brad’s parenting style, substance abuse allegations and anger issue claims.
Angelina is not seeking spousal support, and she listed the separation date as September 15, 2016. The two tied the knot in August, 2014, and have been a couple since 2004. They were last seen together in public in July, at a birthday breakfast celebration for the twins, Knox and Vivienne, in West Hollywood.

An insider told Us Weekly that the couple actually came close to separating before. And although a variety of issues were involved in their battles, this source views the clash over the kids as key.
Deciding how to raise Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8, has caused repeated wars, revealed the insider.
“They came so close to this before,” shared the source. “They fought a lot over the years and disagreed about many things.”
Angelina and Brad attempted to survive those battles, but the fighting reportedly kept getting worse.
“She did try to make it work, but her kids come first and she couldn’t let them see mommy and daddy like this,” clarified the insider. “The fighting got worse and they disagreed a lot about parenting.”
However, sources connected to Pitt told TMZ that by describing Brad as a “bad dad,” he feels Jolie has “put her kids at risk.” The reason? Pitt reportedly feels that his estranged wife has made the family a key target for paparazzi. The “furious” actor also is upset at the claims that he has anger issues exacerbated by alcohol and weed, with the sources revealing how Brad described his feelings about Angelina’s allegations against him.
“She’s just unleashed hell.”
Us Weekly reported that Pitt feels “blindsided” by the divorce and that he discovered that his estranged wife was filing for divorce just one day prior to the confirmation on Tuesday, September 20.
“Brad only found out about the divorce decision yesterday,” an insider told Us.
The source revealed that Pitt, Jolie, and his children were planning to fly to London as a family this Friday, but the plans were canceled on Monday.
