‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 23 Spoilers: Who Will Be The Next Couple To Be Eliminated?

Even though Ryan Lochte and Amber Rose were safe from elimination this week, the latest Dancing with the Stars Season 23 spoilers suggest that they won’t be safe from elimination for much longer… and it looks like one of them may go home next week!

International Business Times is reporting, in their latest Dancing with the Stars Season 23 spoilers, that Ryan Lochte may not be safe from elimination next week, despite the overwhelming cast support following the anti-Lochte protests — and attack — during the September 12 broadcast. Regardless of how much the cast — including his fellow competitors — may like him, his scores aren’t high enough to keep him in the game much longer, especially after he just barely missed an elimination after his ridiculous Muppet Show themed performance with Cheryl Burke (complete with pink and green tuxedos — and by the way, was he trying to send subtle shade to Cheryl by, basically, equating her to Miss Piggy?).

Lochte also said that, despite being safe from elimination, the anti-Lochte protest last week that culminated with an attack on him upset him, not because of any harm to him, but because his mother was in the audience watching it all go down.

But other Dancing with the Stars Season 23 spoilers suggest that neither Ryan nor Amber will go home next week. According to Just Jared, after Jake T. Austin went home last week, all eyes turned to former Texas governor Rick Perry, who had the lowest scores of the night (for the record, Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez had the highest scores, with a grand total of 63 points earned over a two-week period). With such low scores from the judges, and such low audience scores, how could the former politician still be in the running for the competition?

Answer: Ryan Lochte.

Simply put, too many people hate Ryan Lochte after that botched robbery claim in Brazil over the summer, and too many more people want to see him go home as a result. As such, they would rather keep Rick Perry — and his two left feet — in the competition a little bit longer. Though we have to admit, it’s more than a little bit of just desserts to watch Lochte get slaughtered in the blogosphere week after week, with seemingly every other comment being about how badly people want the disgraced Olympian to go home.

Finally, Movie News Guide‘s Dancing with the Stars Season 23 spoilers have a totally different set of predictions in terms of who’s going home next. According to them, both Amber Rose and Vanilla Ice need to watch their backs.

Amber Rose has the advantage of enthusiasm and good will on her side — people genuinely like her (and for good reason, as she comes across as extremely sweet on the show), and she genuinely wants to be on the show to learn new dance moves. Unfortunately, her dancing skills are less than optimal, and all the love and enthusiam in the world may not be enough to save her next week.

For his part, Vanilla Ice doesn’t have as much good will or enthusiasm on his side. His first dance with Witney Carson was nothing more than a retread of his “Ice Ice Baby” days, and showed very little effort on his part. Moreover, he was rightly — and roundly — berated back in the 1990s for being a rap sellout with that song, and to dance to it showed a bit of tone-deafness on his part.
