The actress took up the challenge of building a global lifestyle brand with the aim of helping online viewers make an informed decision about fashion, clothing, food, fitness, arts, culture, beauty, travel, relationships, and accessories. For many of her fans and media commentators, Gwyneth Paltrow’s bizarre decision was too risky ever to be successful, as it was also regarded as an impulsive decision that wasn’t well thought out.
However, regardless of the opinions of her detractors, the actress followed her passion and focused on assuming the role of a businessperson who was answerable to board members rather than an actress who was loved by her fans. Ultimately, the Sliding Doors actress decided to follow her intuition and her passion by offering lifestyle advice designed to help her fans to pamper their inner selves.

But was is evident is that fans who are following the site do so partly because Gwyneth Paltrow shares details of her own lifestyle preferences and glimpses into er everyday life, rather than staying at arm’s length.
The unprecedented popularity of the website has enabled the brand to become somewhat of a cultural icon, even occasionally appearing on popular television shows. In fact, the addiction to Goop has found mention in the upcoming episode of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life; a Netflix comedy series that is a revival of Warner Brothers’ Gilmore Girls. According to Perez Hilton, the first page of the upcoming reboot’s script was released recently, and it reveals Lorelai Gilmore, the show’s protagonist, jokingly attributing her daughter’s perfect look to her dedication towards the health tips that are shared on Goop.
Despite the popularity of Goop, there were rumors which suggested that Gwyneth Paltrow had had enough of her entrepreneurial stint and that she was leaving Goop. The Sliding Doors actress, who earlier launched her “Dream” Organic Skincare and Makeup Line on her website, has put the rumors to rest by taking the next step in her entrepreneurial journey and launching her own line of clothing that will be made available on Goop.
