As Behati Prinsloo’s due date nears, Levine and his band, Maroon 5, continue to cancel their scheduled shows. Although the group was supposed to perform a show tonight in Hartford, Connecticut, Entertainment Tonight announced on September 17 that the band had canceled the show due to the possibility of Levine’s child arriving one day early. The outlet also noted several other concerts that have been canceled.
“Sadly, it’s par for the course with having a baby soon,” Levine announced to fans earlier this month on Instagram. “It’s life, and it’s beautiful, but it can be complicated, and I apologize for any convenience.”
According to the band’s official website, via Entertainment Tonight, upcoming concerts in Albany, Montreal, Quebec, Buffalo, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Milwaukee will be rescheduled to dates in February and March of next year.
“Even when you think you’ve planned everything perfectly, sometimes life just kinda happens,” Levine added in a separate statement to fans. “Soon [Behati Prinsloo] and I will be celebrating the birth of our first child and, as I’m sure you all understand, I need to be there. I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone in the spring.”
Following tonight’s canceled show, Adam Levine and his band will be taking the next two weeks off. By taking a break once Behati Prinsloo gives birth, he would be able to remain at her side as they adjust to being parents for the first time.
