Carly Waddell, Evan Bass Plan To Marry, But His Ex-Wife Speaks Out, Says Wedding Will Never Happen

Evan Bass and Carly Waddell fell in love on Bachelor in Paradise and are engaged. These two seem to be doing great and are constantly posting on social networks together. Now, Evan’s ex-wife is speaking out and sharing her thoughts. She doesn’t think that these two will ever get married. Evan’s ex-wife Marie spoke exclusively to Hollywood Life to share her thoughts on the engagement.

Marie was married to Evan Bass for ten years before they got the divorce, and she is actually shocked he found love on the show. She shared that she would be shocked if Evan and Carly get married.

“Evan and Carly seem to be a good pair. But I cannot see Evan remarried, I cannot. If he marries her, it will surprise me for sure. I wish nothing but the best for Evan. I want him to find happiness and if Carly is for him, then great. I wish them the best and I hope it all works out.”

Evan Bass’ ex was nice about Carly and didn’t have anything bad to say about her at all. The thing is Marie isn’t really happy with the way that Evan found love. Marie admits she didn’t even want Evan to go on reality television at all. Here is what she had to say.

“He has thrown me for a loop, I didn’t think he would last as long as he did on The Bachelorette, he totally surprised me with that. I didn’t think he would go on Bachelor In Paradise. Evan was kind of odd on The Bachelorette so obviously they are going to throw him and Chad on BIP, that makes sense to me. But I didn’t think he would go because I thought he would have more character, than to go on the sleazy TV show. Money does talk and I was upset that he went cause he was going to be away from the kids again and it was stressful and he knew how hard of a time I had with the first filming and he didn’t care, he went anyway.”

It is obvious that Marie didn’t like the fact that Evan Bass left her home alone to take care of their three boys while he was on the show. Evan is constantly sharing about his kids on social networks, and he shows that he is very involved. Filming for Bachelor in Paradise was only three weeks long.

People shared that Evan Bass and Carly Waddell have already made one big plan when it comes to their upcoming wedding. They told Nick Viall that he would be allowed to officiate their big day. A lot of the time Chris Harrison does the wedding, but Nick was their choice. They also shared that they think that Nick is a great choice for The Bachelor.

You know that if Carly and Evan tie the knot, you will get to see a lot of people from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette at their wedding. Fans are very hopeful that they will end up getting married on television so that they can see the wedding. Jade Roper Tolbert and Tanner Tolbert did, so it wouldn’t be surprising if their wedding is televised as well. With three engagements at the end of Bachelor in Paradise, that is a lot of weddings to show.
