News about Louis Tomlinson has been surprisingly focused on redundant topics like his baby or girlfriend, but what is being overlooked is that Louis Tomlinson is headed toward a career in the music industry. In fact, Louis Tomlinson might be the next giant in the business if insiders close to Louis are to be believed.
Everyone has been curious about the future of the One Direction band since they went on vacation, and career speculations have been a regular part of the media since Zayn Malik left the band in March 2015.
Furthermore, it appears to some fans that they might never get back together as a band because they keep making solo record deals, managing golf pros, or making movies.
Simon Cowell's publicly stated uncertainty concerning the exact end date for One Direction's vacation does not help fans feel reassured, and many fear that Louis Tomlinson having a baby means the end of his career as a performer.
Naturally, having a new baby takes its toll on the parents, and NME reports that One Direction fans were concerned about Louis Tomlinson's health after he appeared tired in public around the end of August.
Regardless, Louis Tomlinson is the only member of One Direction that has not signed a solo record deal yet, and this lack of contract may not necessarily be related to him being a new father.
Instead, it is being predicted by insiders like Louis Walsh of the X Factor that Louis Tomlinson, like Simon Cowell, might be a major player in the behind-the-scenes segment of the music industry in roles such as a manager.
Louis Walsh's predictions were not far off because Louis Tomlinson has the most songwriting credits (and is, therefore, the richest member of 1D) for One Direction, as previously reported by the Inquisitr.
Louis Tomlinson is also a bit of an amateur talent scout, and while One Direction is directly invested in 5SOS, it was Louis Tomlinson that "discovered" 5SOS. Sugarscape clarifies this aspect of Louis Tomlinson's resume and states that Louis first fell in love with 5SOS because of their YouTube videos.
In other words, maybe Louis Tomlinson being named as a guest judge by Simon Cowell for X Factor was not a fluke after all because Louis Tomlinson might be headed for a career in management and talent scouting for the music industry.
Adding to this, according to a June 1 report from UnReality TV, Louis Tomlinson being an X Factor judge might be the first sign that he is turning his back on the music world completely.
At the time, insiders claimed that Louis Tomlinson was "very interested in the world of TV" and they alleged that he "signed up with James Grant, the London based agency who represents Holly Willoughby and Ant and Dec."
On top of this, the insiders claimed in June that Louis Tomlinson is not likely to release a solo album in the near future and that he is "considering opportunities both in front of the camera, including documentaries, and behind-the-scenes as a producer."
On the other hand, the insider said Louis Tomlinson would still be working with his record company, 78 Productions, and he was actually writing in the studio during the early summer.
In the end, the one thing that is clear is that Louis Tomlinson has likely chosen Los Angeles as him home base for the near future. Naturally, Louis Tomlinson has a baby that needs his care, and there are definitely many opportunities that will present themselves to Louis since Hollywood is the heart of the worldwide music industry.
Although many Louis Tomlinson fans will want him to release solo music, the fact that everyone in One Direction currently owns property in Hollywood (except Liam Payne) puts Louis in the geographic position to produce their solo albums.
In other words, there is a strong chance that fans can look forward to reading Louis Tomlinson's name in the music credits.
