NYC Explosion: Trump Criticized For Calling It A ‘Bombing’ Before Media Confirms It

As if the NYC explosion isn’t stirring enough controversy among Americans, now the mainstream media have decided to further stir the pot, as they, along with Hillary Clinton, are criticizing Donald Trump for calling the incident a “bombing” before it was reported as such.

Never mind the fact that Clinton herself also referred to it as a “bombing” before the media did, as reported by Independent Journal Review.

“I’ve been briefed about the bombings in New York and New Jersey,” Hillary, looking frail and extremely exhausted, said to a handful of journalists aboard her plane. After this, a reporter asks her if Trump jumped the gun on calling the NYC explosion a “bombing” before knowing for sure that’s what it was.

This is a great example of why the majority of Americans don’t trust the mainstream media. How can one not see the bias of asking Mrs. Clinton if she believes Trump should be held accountable for something she had just done seconds before?

The right wing news outlet RedState has also pointed out the obvious favoring of the press toward Hillary Clinton.

“She is actually asked what Hillary thought of Trump referring to the explosion as a bomb, 40 SECONDS after Hillary referred to the explosion as a ‘bombing’ and then has the audacity to say people should wait for all of the facts!”

There are plenty of news outlets chastising Trump for calling the NYC explosion a “bombing” before receiving the facts, or at least the media’s version of facts.

Sean Sullivan of The Washington Post wrote a brief article which explained Trump’s “rush to judgement,” but he didn’t give readers any reasons why such an article was warranted. Also, unsurprising, Clinton’s same assumption that a bombing had taken place was not mentioned.

Reader comments on The Post article reveal that those who are anti-Trump think this is a prime example of how dangerous he would be as president, and some are even convinced that Donald himself is responsible for the NYC explosion, insisting that since he called it a “bomb” before anyone else, it means he knew because he was involved.

As it turns out, regular civilians aren’t the only ones speculating about Trump being behind the bombing in Manhattan. A former Homeland Security advisor, who just happens to be a Muslim with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, an organization with links to radical Islamic terror groups, also believes Trump has something to do with it.

Deb Sopan of CBS News wrote an article about Trump calling the NYC explosion a “bombing” as well, but unlike The Post’s article, this one did mention the fact that Hillary Clinton referred to it as a “bombing” too. However, CBS seemed to insinuate that in Clinton’s case, her assumption was warranted because she had made the statement after New York mayor Bill de Blasio had come out and said that it looked like the explosion had been “intentional.” Why this should matter, I don’t know, because a person can cause an intentional explosion without a bomb having to be in the equation.

“Trump’s opponent, Hillary Clinton also referred to the explosion in Chelsea as a ‘bombing,’ telling reporters late Saturday night, ‘I’ve been briefed about the bombings in New York and New Jersey.’ But Clinton’s comments came after De Blasio had characterized the explosion as ‘an intentional act’ and after she had spoken with the mayor’s office.”

Sopan went on to mention other instances when Trump made assumptions about events that, like in the case of the NYC explosion, he thought appeared to look like terror attacks.

Not long after the truck attack in Nice, France was made public knowledge, Trump spoke to Fox News, making it clear he believed the carnage was done by radical Islamists. He was correct in his assumption.

Likewise, Trump also assumed that the tragedy of EgyptAir Flight 804 was the result of an Islamic terror attack and that it happened while the plane was in the air, causing it to go down. The truth about EgyptAir Flight 804 has yet to be confirmed.

USA Today also penned an article about Trump’s initial reactions to the news of an NYC explosion, and they seem to deliberately hide the fact that Clinton was also guilty of rushing to judgement.

“The Republican candidate’s Democratic rival for the presidency, Hillary Clinton, had a more muted response to the New York City blast.”

“‘I think it’s always wiser to wait until you have information before making conclusions, because we are just in the beginning stages of trying to determine what happened,’ she said, according to the Associated Press.”

While making sure to paint Clinton in a good light, writing that she had “a more muted” response, they also left out that she too called it a “bombing,” by quoting her but leaving that part out.

The NYC explosion has made an example of the mainstream media’s bias against Donald Trump, and this is just one of many examples. It’s so obvious if you just take the time to look.
