‘Southern Charm’ Stars Kathryn Dennis And Thomas Ravenel Are Both Returning For Season 4?

Southern Charm stars Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel have had what many would call the most dramatic relationship of the entire series. However, with filming underway, fans are wondering if they’ll be seeing them return for Season 4.

Although many cast members have shared photos from Southern Charm filming sessions throughout this month, which have included Cameran Eubanks, Landon Clements, and Craig Conover, Dennis and Ravenel’s roles appear to be in jeopardy — at least somewhat.

On September 14, All About the Tea shared the latest details regarding Dennis and Ravenel’s roles in Season 4 of Southern Charm and shared a recent tweet from Ravenel which suggested that while he had been asked to return to the show, he was planning to quit the series after discovering he’d been left out of the majority of the series’ filming sessions.

“As I’m being cut out of [Southern Charm’s] major scenes, I’ve decided to remove myself from any further humiliation by exiting [Southern Charm] in its entirety,” Ravenel wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

As Southern Charm fans may recall, Ravenel has made a habit of “quitting” the show and has threatened to do so before every single season. However, his threats, which are often shared on social media, are typically deleted quickly and thus far, he has remained on the show.

As for why Ravenel may have been left out of the drama with his Southern Charm co-stars, it could have been due to the fact that his on-again, off-again girlfriend, Dennis, whom he last split from several months ago, has not yet returned to production.

According to the report, Dennis, who reportedly entered rehab earlier this summer, is in talks with Bravo to return to the reality show but hasn’t yet made anything official.

“Bravo is working out a way to get Kathryn back into the game,” the source told All About the Tea. “Although she creates chaos, she makes for good reality TV. She has not started filming yet, but expect to see Kathryn in [Southern Charm] Season 4.”

As a previous All About the Tea report confirmed, Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel were involved in a dramatic custody hearing earlier this summer which resulted in Ravenel being awarded full custody of their two children, Kensington, 2, and Saint Julien, 9 months. While neither party has spoken publicly about their custody dispute, the report revealed that Dennis had failed a court-ordered drug test and tested positive for marijuana, cocaine, and opiates.

Following news of the Southern Charm stars’ custody battle, a source spoke to All About the Tea and revealed Ravenel had cleaned up his act in hopes of being the best parent he can be to their kids.

“Thomas quit drinking 6 months ago and has completely changed his life to be in a solid position to parent his kids,” the source explained. “Thomas only wants what [is] best for his kids. He is very concerned about Kathryn’s addiction and has offered to fund a stint in rehab.”

Meanwhile, the source added, “Kathryn is in complete denial about her drug issues and won’t own up to anything. Kathryn is playing victim and is making outlandish accusations about Thomas, accusing him of ‘cheating’ the drug test results. She’s lying to save face.”

While it was reported that Ravenel was open to paying for Dennis’ time in rehab, it was never confirmed whether or not he ended up paying for her time in Malibu, California.
