Kristen Stewart Wanted ‘Twilight’ Sex Scenes With Robert Pattinson To Be Best
It was back in 2008 when the first part of the Twilight saga was released worldwide. The enormous success of the film was credited to the onscreen performances of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.
Unlike any other vampire film, the Twilight saga showed very little nudity. But the lovemaking scenes between Stewart and Pattinson were appreciated by their fans and critics. However, Stewart did not find those sex scenes very attractive and revealed in one of her earlier interviews that those scenes were highly grotesque.
The full-fledged lovemaking scene between Bella Swan and Edward Cullen was shown in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1. In her interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK, Stewart revealed that those sex scenes disappointed her, as she wanted something transcendent from them.
“It had to be transcendent and otherworldly, inhuman, better sex than you can possibly ever imagine, and we were like, ‘How do we live up to that?’,” she told the magazine. “It was agony. Which sucks, because I wanted it to be so good.”
The actress further explained that after the enormous success of the first two parts, she felt the pressure to live up to fans who were craving some vampire-human romance.
“I only hate [sex scenes] when they’re contrived. That’s when it’s grotesquely uncomfortable,” she further admitted.
Now, whatever the scenario was, fans of Robert and Kristen did enjoy all the love making scenes, and their off-screen romance worked like a charm for them.
In her candid interview, Cafe Society actress also revealed the truth about sexism in the entertainment industry. The actress, who does not care about others’ perspectives, stated that Hollywood is sexist.
“Women inevitably have to work a little bit harder to be heard. Hollywood is disgustingly sexist. It’s crazy. It’s so offensive it’s crazy.”
Well, it is not easy to shoot a sex scene when there are so many crew members in the same room. Stewart, who won the prestigious Cesar award for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Valentine in the French-German film Clouds of Sils Maria, revealed how intimidating it was to get naked in front of her co-star.
According to Vanity Fair, the actress had to shoot a particular nude scene with Juliette Binoche in Clouds of Sils Maria. In one particular nude scene, all the female leads of the movie go to a lake and get undressed. Stewart, on the other hand, chose not to remove her bottoms.
“Once she started taking her clothes off and I started taking my clothes off I was just like, ‘Oh my God, I can’t f*****g get naked around her.’ I felt self-conscious as Valentine. I fully represented this American sort of modest self-consciousness and she, like, 100 percent started exuding her freedom. I completely assumed my own identity and went, ‘Nope. F**k it. I’m sticking with undies.'”
Meanwhile, in Kristen Stewart and Alicia Cargile relationship update, many are speculating that Robert Pattinson’s ex-lover is thinking of splitting with Cargile.
However, the recent report suggests that the actress is having a great time with her new girlfriend, and they are actually planning to take it to the next level.
In her recent interview, Stewart talked about her relationship with Cargile and how she motivates her on every step.
The actress also addressed the mistakes she made in the past and how Cargile’s company has totally changed her perspective.
“I would never talk about any of my relationships before, but once I started dating girls it seemed like there was an opportunity to represent something really positive. I still want to protect my personal life, but I don’t want to seem like I’m protecting the idea, so that does sort of feel like I owe something to people.”
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson may have parted ways, but it looks like there is no bad blood between them.
