Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) has come a long way since Once Upon A Time began. She has always had trust issues, but viewers can’t blame her. Based on her past, it is understandable why she puts up a wall. However, last season Emma told Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) she loved him. What made the moment even more spectacular is that they weren’t in a life or death situation at the time. So, where does this leave Captain Swan in Season 6?

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Hook and Emma‘s relationship will strengthen. However, that doesn’t mean there won’t be issues or obstacles. Edward Kitsis recently told TVLine that no romance is perfect.

“No relationship is a fairytale. So if people are expecting no drama, we hope that they will enjoy what we are showing.”

It certainly is an interesting statement and doesn’t really explain Hook and Emma’s future. If viewers are going to enjoy what they see, perhaps that means Captain Swan will be just fine.

Once Upon A Time Season 6 spoilers tease danger is coming up for everyone in Storybrooke. This includes Hook and Emma. Adam Horowitz said that things will pick up for the couple where they left off in the Season 5 finale.

“We pick up pretty directly from where we left them at the end of last season, where for the first time Emma professed her love without the duress of a life-or-death situation. Of course, life-or-death situations come pretty quickly on our show, so that will change.”

As OUAT fans know, Mr. Hyde (Sam Witwer) will drop characters from the Land Of Untold Stories in Storybrooke. These particular individuals wanted to pause their tales for some reason. Now that they are in Storybrooke, the play button has been hit. Henry (Jared Gilmore), Emma, and others will try to help the characters find their happiness. Meanwhile, it will bring up some mixed emotions regarding their own tales.

There is also the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) to worry about. In Season 6, Once Upon A Time fans will watch as Regina tries to battle her alter ego, who is now a separate individual. The Evil Queen has declared war and is determined to destroy everyone’s happiness. There will also be a lot going on with other characters, as Carter Matt noted about the synopsis for Season 6, Episode 1, titled “The Savior.”

“As our heroes set out to stop Hyde, Emma develops a mysterious side effect, and Storybrooke becomes a haven for refugees from the Land Of Untold Stories. Meanwhile, Regina and Zelena embrace their newfound sisterhood by becoming roommates, while Rumple tries to free Belle from the sleeping Curse with the help of a stranger. In flashback, Jafar confronts an afflicted Aladdin in Agrabah, and a secret about the Savior is revealed.”

There is a theory that the secret has to do with Emma finding out she is not the first Savior. If this is accurate, then Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz) might be able to help her with that.

What do you think is going to happen with Emma, Hook, and everyone else in Storybrooke? Find out when Once Upon A Time Season 6 premieres September 25 on the ABC network.
