Hillary Clinton 2016: Clinton Back On the Trail, Promises To ‘Never Walk Away’

Hillary Clinton is recovered and getting back on the campaign trail. After her health issues and rumors of a body double, she seems to feel the weight of the nearing election.

This past week, the rumors surrounding her absence from the public realm seriously threatened Clinton’s rapport with her supporters and fanned the flames of her dissenters’ outcries. The Inquisitr reports that her return to the trail will probably successfully nip many accusations in the bud.

“[Some] of the rumors that have surrounded Clinton include that she is dead, that a body double has taken her place, and that her health issues are much worse than pneumonia. Many in the conservative media have gone as far as to say that Clinton could possibly have had an unreported stroke, or that she has Parkinsons Disease. By getting back out in front of the public, Clinton should be able to end all of the speculation about her health.”

While many are accusing her beacuse of her absence from the race, the Democratic nominee claims that it gave her time to think about the campaign and rest.

“Speaking at a rally in Greensboro, North Carolina, the Democratic nominee said her time off was a gift, allowing her to reflect on the campaign,” BBC said.

The news source also reported that Clinton walked on the stage while James Brown’s “I Feel Good” played over the speakers.

“People accuse me of all kinds of things,” Clinton said. “You probably have seen that, but nobody ever accuses me of quitting and I will never give up, I’ll never walk away, no matter how tough the going gets.”

Time explained that Clinton’s campaign has admitted to its struggles when running against Donald Trump.

“The campaign ‘readily admits’ it’s having trouble getting its message across when running against a candidate like Donald Trump. [However], Trump has yet to outline a fiscally stable economic plan. The components of what he has already released would dramatically cut revenues through tax cuts, while expanding outlays on everything from childcare to infrastructure and massive military rearmament.”

Even though Trump’s campaign style is noticeably aggressive and ad hominem, if he does not state and explain a stable economic plan then it could become his Achilles’ heel.

Ultimately, Clinton, as usual, was able to turn her bout of illness into a life lesson comparable to the trials and victories of the American people.

“I recently had a cold that turned out to be pneumonia. I tried to power through it, but even I had to admit that maybe a few days’ rest would be good. I’m not great at taking it easy even under normal circumstances, but with just two months to go until Election Day, sitting at home was just the last place I wanted to be.”

According to The Washington Post, Clinton said that her time off gave her the time and space to reevaluate the issues and topics that initially motivated her to enter public service. Particularly, the nominee claimed that the American public has the right to have something, or someone, to stand behind. She specifically referenced the Trump campaign in the mention of insults.

“Life events like these are catastrophic for some families, but mere bumps in the road for others. I have met so many people living on a razor’s edge — one illness away from losing their job; one paycheck away from losing their home. […] And that goes against everything we stand for as Americans. I want to give Americans something to vote for, not just against. We are offering ideas, not insults. Plans that will make a difference in people’s lives.”

Hillary Clinton’s illness had first come to public attention on September 11, when she had to leave the 9/11 memorial service early and was seen stumbling into a van. Her campaign later announced that Clinton had been diagnosed with pneumonia two days before, but intended to just push through it.
