Donald Trump Is A ‘Giant Douche,’ ‘South Park’ Plotline Twist Explained By This Wild Fan Theory [Spoilers]

South Park kicked off its 20th season by referring to Donald Trump as a “Giant Douche” and Hillary Clinton as a “Turd Sandwich.” Plus, this fan’s wild theory could totally explain that confusing twist at the end.

Last season, Mr. Garrison was basically a Donald Trump proxy in the season premiere.

For the Season 20 premiere, Mr. Garrison is back and tanner than ever. His new nickname? Giant Douche.

Hillary Clinton also made an appearance on South Park last season.

This season, Hillary is back in a new blue suit, but you can just call her “Turd Sandwich.”

This is most likely referencing an episode from the past. “Douche and Turd” aired just before the 2004 election between George W. Bush and John Kerry.

Vanity Fair spoke with South Park creator Trey Parker, who told them that he feels this year’s comparison to Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton is very “accurate.”

“Well, how the f*** are we going to comment on that? We already did ‘Douche and Turd.'”

Looks like South Park creators are sticking to that excuse.

The creators also explained how they managed to keep the show cool and relevant for nearly three decades.

“For whatever it’s worth, we still do everything we did when we first started. We really haven’t handed the show off to anyone.

“So for better or worse, it’s not like people trying to constantly recreate what South Park was—we’re constantly trying to figure out something new for it to be…

“…So we come to every season trying to say, “All right, what can we do totally differently?” And that’s part of what makes it fun for us.”

The two creators also try to base the following week’s episode after reacting to what is working from the week before.

“So we’re reacting to what is working the week before, instead of having some grand design. And then later on, the design starts to reveal itself a little bit.”

The South Park premiere had interweaving plotlines including Garrison’s election and girls from the elementary school being harassed online.

Girls refused to stand for the national anthem at South Park Elementary in demand for protection against the online troll “skankhunt42.”

South Park‘s first episode of its 20th season was titled “Member Berries.” During the episode, an internet user by the name of “skankhunt42” was trolling young girls online at South Park Elementary.

The plot twist?

At the end of the episode, Kyle’s dad, Gerald Broflovski, poured some wine and sat down at the computer, logging onto the South Park Elementary message board as “skankhunt42.”

Why would Kyle’s dad do something like this? He had no motivation for online hate. A fan suggested a possible theory that would explain the confusing plot twist on Reddit.

“Hang on, what if Gerald’s wine was made out of member berries and that’s what’s causing this?”

If you didn’t catch the episode, “member berries” say nostalgic things to a person. There seemed to be a comparison between these “member berries” and society’s infatuation with pop culture nostalgia.

These “member berries” were seemingly harmless, but then they started “membering” really offensive things like

“…marriage was just between a man and a woman”

…”when there weren’t so many Mexicans.”

Could these “member berries” be in Gerald’s wine? Could this be the reason that he is harassing women online?

This South Park fan theory is definitely a possibility.

Only creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone know for sure.
