On the surface, the video, which was translated to English by All K-Pop, seems to simply be about thanking Moonlight Drawn By Clouds fans for their support.

“We’ve gotten a 20% viewer rating due to the power of your support. Thank you. Thank you for giving us so much love and interest. We hope you watch the rest of the episodes as well,” Park Bo Gum says near the beginning of the video.

“Chuseok is coming soon, and I hope you spend a good time with your family. You can spend Chuseok with ‘Moonlight Drawn by Clouds’ as well,” Kim Yoo Jung adds. For those unfamiliar with South Korean culture, Chuseok is a three-day holiday that happens in autumn.

“You must watch. I won’t allow you changing the channel,” Bo Gum says at the end of the video, speaking in character.

Although the video is all about the series, you can definitely see that there’s a lot of chemistry between Yoo Jung and Bo Gum as they’re giggling with each other as the video ends.

The chemistry between Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung was noticed at a press conference held in Seoul before the Moonlight premiere. As Soompi reports, the two Korean drama actors spoke very fondly of working with each other.

“As soon as I saw the script for ‘Moonlight Drawn By Clouds’ I thought it was fun and I really wanted to do it,” Park Bo Gum said to the press. “After hearing about Kim Yoo Jung getting cast, I was thankful to be able to work with a sunbaenim.”

Kim Yoo Jung was equally complimentary to her co-star, according to Soompi. She even called the 23-year-old actor handsome.

“I was really happy when I heard that I’d be working with Park Bo Gum. I got surprised whenever I saw Bo Gum because he’s so handsome.”

She also chatted about the way Park Bo Gum was always taking care of her on the set of Moonlight Drawn By Clouds.

Yoo Kung revealed more about how she and Bo Gum got along on set in a recent interview with Elle Korea, as reported by Soompi. But unfortunately for all the Moonlight fans who ship the two K-drama stars together, Kim said that she sees Park more as a brother.

“We’re like siblings,” she said. “Before we started production, we wanted to get close to each other so we did script readings together and went out to eat, but it felt awkward. When filming started, becoming closer happened naturally as we went through the difficulties together. ”

Set during the Joseon Dynasty, Moonlight Drawn By Clouds, also known as Love In The Moonlight, is a period Korean drama based on a web-comic of the same name that was originally published online in 2013. According to All About Korean Drama, the story follows Hong Ra On, played by Kim Yoo Jung, a young girl who dresses up as a man to give men advice on dating. After she writes a love letter for a client, she meets future Crown Prince Hyomyeong, played by Park Bo Gum, who is also pretending to be someone he’s not. He calls himself Lee Yeong. Lee Yeong eventually starts to show an interest in Hong Ra On unaware that “he” is really a woman.
