Katie Holmes Brushes Off Rumors About Alleged Relationship With Jamie Foxx

Katie Holmes has recently been linked with Jamie Foxx, her ex-boyfriend Joshua Jackson, and her co-stars Matthew Perry and Jason Segel. Tom Cruise’s ex-wife, however, has always avoided acknowledging her association with any of these celebrities.

Earlier this year, Holmes was spotted in a dressing room with Foxx. The 48-year-old singer was on hand to perform with Barbra Streisand in Brooklyn, and according to Us Weekly, the actress was spotted with him in his dressing room just before the concert.

“They left from the dressing room area a few minutes apart from each other, but she was hanging out in his dressing room with him after the show,” an insider revealed to the magazine.

The publication further revealed that they have been in a serious relationship for the past three years, but Holmes has maintained their privacy about their relationship.

“Jamie is someone she can trust and have fun with,” the insider added. “She’s getting everything from Jamie that she didn’t get with Tom.”

In a recent interview, Holmes was asked about her rumored relationships, and the actress revealed how she deals with all the nonsense.

In her interview with DuJour, Katie was asked how she manages to discuss her professional life when everyone wants to talk about her personal life. In response, the Dawson’s Creek star simply dismissed the subject and stated that she just tries to live in a way that makes her happy.

“There’s definitely an awareness of the fact that people have camera phones, and that your privacy is sometimes invaded, but that’s something that I think everyone has had to adjust to,” she added. “Even early on, when I was a young actor and all of a sudden people knew who I was, my dad told me, ‘Don’t let that change how you live your life.’ I’ve always sort of approached it that way. You have to continue to do the things you want to do and not let outside forces dictate.”

This is not the first time when Suri’s mother brushed aside questions about her dating life. During her recent conversation with More Magazine, the actress addressed the speculation about rumored relationships, and she explained how, after divorcing Tom Cruise, she is coping up with her professional and personal life.

“I paint, I color. I cook sometimes. I still feel like a girl. I don’t quite feel like a woman, maybe because I’m the baby of my family. I’ll probably be 90 and feel like, ‘Not a woman yet!’ Ha!”

Following the example of Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx explained that they are just friends, and there is nothing going on between them. The Django Unchained star told Page Six that all the rumors about him dating Holmes are 100 percent not true.

“In fact, it’s quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people,” he further added.

Having said that, a recent report suggests that Holmes cannot go public with her alleged romance with any man until 2017. According to Radar Online, the actress signed an agreement with Cruise that prohibits her from openly dating someone or allowing anyone she might date to have contact with their daughter, Suri.

“Katie signed a clause in her quickie divorce settlement that prevents her from embarrassing Tom in various ways, like talking about him or Scientology, or publicly dating another man for five years after the divorce,” an insider told the outlet.

Holmes and Foxx have never officially declared their love for each other in front of the media. So, all the speculation about them is inconclusive, and we should probably wait until Katie decides to go public about her personal life if we want to know the truth.
