Vicki Gunvalson Says Shannon Beador’s Cold Behavior Made her ‘Sick To My Stomach’

Vicki Gunvalson had hoped that she could have a moment to talk to Shannon Beador and work out any issues that she may have with her after last year’s cancer scandal. As it turns out, Beador wasn’t thrilled about the idea of a conversation as she had moved on with her life. She has repeatedly told her co-stars and Real Housewives of Orange County viewers that she simply doesn’t want to have Gunvalson as a friend.

When Vicki and the other ladies crashed in the dune buggy and Vicki was airlifted to the hospital, several of the ladies had hoped that Shannon would show some kind of compassion. As it turns out, golfing was more important than visiting Gunvalson in the hospital.

According to a new Bravo report, Vicki Gunvalson is now revealing that she was shocked to see just how cold Shannon was during Monday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Gunvalson revealed on her blog that she was actually downplaying the severity of her issues, possibly so she didn’t scare off her own children. So she was surprised to learn that even after an accident that could have resulted in her death, Shannon had no interest in speaking with her.

“I was truly sick to my stomach watching this episode as it pertained to Shannon. This woman has zero compassion and her true colors really showed. I have to say even in the state of our friendship now, I absolutely would have driven 45 minutes to be with her if the roles were reversed,” Vicki Gunvalson revealed in her Bravo blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County, while acknowledging that they aren’t friends anymore.

Heather Dubrow has been very vocal about her dislike for Shannon and Meghan King Edmonds, as they didn’t act as she expected. She had expected the ladies to rush over to the hospital, where Vicki Gunvalson was being airlifted to so she didn’t have to be alone. Sadly, Shannon and Meghan didn’t see the urgency in the situation. When Meghan later learned how severe the accident had been, she decided to drive over to Vicki’s home with a gift.

“I was proud of Heather and Tamra for voicing their opinion to Shannon and Meghan on their choice to not come see me at the hospital. I appreciated Meghan coming over to my house a few days later and giving me her side of the story and the lack of information that was relayed to her,” Vicki Gunvalson explained on her blog, sharing that she was happy that Meghan decided to come visit her.

On Twitter, King Edmonds revealed that she was happy that she and Gunvalson could move on from the misunderstanding.

“I feel terrible that Vicki Gunvalson had to go through everything alone. I’m glad I was able to apologize and that we are in a good place now,” she explained as The Real Housewives of Orange County aired on Monday.

As for Shannon, she eventually called Gunvalson and left a message on her voicemail because she felt she was the only one who hadn’t reached out to her after the accident. Even though Vicki was sick to her stomach watching her former friend’s reaction, she isn’t holding any grudges.

“I chose at this time in my life NOT to carry grudges, forgive when asked for forgiveness, to talk things out and attempt to move on, and that’s what I am going to do with this. I truly believe that Meghan did not mean to be hurtful to me and she proved it by taking the time to come over to see me. It meant a lot to me and I am thankful that she did that,” Vicki Gunvalson explained in her blog for Bravo.
