Hillary Clinton Hires Body Double For Public Appearances?

After all the conspiracy theories regarding her health, there’s another rumor spreading online today that says Hillary Clinton has been hiring a body double for her public appearances.

No matter how absurd it sounds, the rumor spread like wildfire.

The talks about a doppelganger started when the Democratic presidential candidate had to be brought to the hospital after a fainting spell outside the 9/11 Memorial on Monday. But somebody who looks just like her, only thinner, was snapped outside Chelsea Clinton’s apartment just hours later.

USA Today reported that an innocuous photograph of Teresa Barnwell, the alleged body double of Hillary Clinton, was posted on the Internet.

According to the report, confusion followed when the body double was not seen with her usual security. She was also casually walking along the sidewalk and even posed for a selfie with a little girl.

The Hillary Clinton lookalike was also telling those who were concerned about her health following her fainting spell that she felt “great.”

Many said it was strange Clinton wasn’t surrounded by security for part of the day on Sept. 11. She took her time walking along a sidewalk, telling spectators she was feeling “great,” and stopped to pose for a photo with a young girl.

A related report from Daily Mail pointed out how people have been dissecting side-by-side photographs of Hillary Clinton and her alleged body double.

“Some compared pictures of the presidential hopeful that appear to show she had lost weight compared to earlier in the campaign,” the British tabloid said. “It is likely that someone suffering from pneumonia would appear frailer than usual.”

Teresa Barnwell, the alleged body double of Hillary Clinton, came forward to debunk all the conspiracy theories.

She admitted to The Daily Beast that she helped fan the rumor by posting a photo of herself in front of Chelsea’s apartment out of boredom. The picture in question was taken back in August.

“I got some kind of notification: ‘When Hillary left Chelsea’s home, she looked so different. Was it a body double?’ Then my picture started appearing. I was like, ‘What? What is going on?'”

Barnwell added that she really doesn’t like to be associated with Hillary Clinton or her family so much because she didn’t want to be seen as a stalker. That’s forgetting the fact, of course, that she has been making a living out of impersonating the presidential candidate for over two decades.

When she took the photograph, it was a spur of the moment decision to show a friend where Chelsea lives, the reported body double of Hillary Clinton said.

This isn’t the first time that conspiracy theories have followed Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Donald Trump has jumped on all the rumors surrounding her health, and how she’s supposedly suffering from brain damage and Parkinson’s Disease.

Hillary Clinton, time and again, has denied all the allegations regarding her health.

For the time being, however, she may not need a body double, considering that former president Bill Clinton will assume most of her duties while she recovers. The Democratic presidential candidate appeared for the Hillary Victory Fund on Tuesday, then moved to Nevada for the campaign.

Bill Clinton told CBS News that Hillary Clinton’s health is nothing new because she’s been suffering from exhaustion just like in the past.

“Rarely, on more than one occasion, over the last many, many years, the same sort of thing’s happened to her when she got severely dehydrated, and she’s worked like a demon, as you know, as secretary of state, as a senator, and in the years since,” he said. “She’d had two and a half hard days before the day when she got dizzy.”
