Emma Watson Rides Ivanka Trump Wave As Belle Dress From ‘Beauty And The Beast’ Gets Released, Boyfriend Will Knight Fades
Emma Watson is trying to have a quiet year off, but seeing how popular she is, that is just impossible. With Beauty and the Beast coming around in 2017 and Ivanka Trump misquoting her, the 26-year-old actress has not been able to have a moment to herself. At least her Belle dress is looking great!
Harry Potter actress was disturbed out of her year off from making movies when Ivanka Trump quoted her wrongly for something that Emma did not come up with.
“Ivanka Trump has been mocked for attributing an iconic quote by rabbinic sage Hillel the Elder to Emma Watson,” reports the Independent. “A graphic was uploaded to the eldest daughter of the Republican presidential candidate’s Instagram, Facebook and Twitter account on Friday which read: ‘If not me, who? If not now, when? – Emma Watson’.”
The British actress did say those words at the United Nations in 2014, but she was quoting the Jewish aphorism said by one of the most important figures in Jewish history. It looks like Ivanka Trump did not do her background research.
Another reason that Emma Watson is in the news is because the sketches from Beauty and the Beast got released to the public! This showed Belle in a new light, showing that she is a little grungier and ready to take on the world.

“Back in May, we got our first glimpse of Emma Watson in the Beauty and the Beast remake,” reports Teen Vogue. “You could see about half her face wide-eyed behind the iconic rose, and it was still enough to strike feels in the hearts of even remake haters. Now a closer look at her costuming proves Emma is a beyond perfect choice, to the point where she should probably even be retroactively CGI-ed into the original movie.”
She may be playing Belle on screen, but her real life far from glamorous. Instead of playing the fame game in Hollywood, the British actress chose to take a degree from Brown University, become UN Women ambassador and even take a year off from making movies to make sure her perspective does not get skewed by film industry standards.

“I’m taking a year away from acting to focus on two things, really,” Emma said according to Entertainment Weekly. “My own personal development is one. I know that you read a book a day. My own personal task is to read a book a week, and also to read a book a month as part of my book club. I’m doing a huge amount of reading and study just on my own.”
She really has been following up on her book club idea, interviewing authors and keeping a very active Goodreads page for her fans to read along with her.
But her boyfriend, Will Knight, has not been seen as of lately. At the beginning of her year off, she was often seen with her boyfriend, going to brunch, going on a walk and shopping together. The last time that Emma Watson was seen with a man was with The Colony co-star Daniel Bruhl.
“[D]espite living on separate sides of the world, Emma Watson and Daniel Bruehl managed to reunite in Berlin on Friday,” reports Daily Mail. “With Daniel’s girlfriend pregnant with their first child, the pair seemed to be celebrating the good news with a toast, as they nursed glasses of white wine over the bar.”
While her fans tried to deduce whether Daniel and Emma are engaged in a relationship, the fact that he is a father to his girlfriend’s babies meant that there is no room for anything to grow.
