Bethenny Frankel’s Net Worth Could Increase Thanks To ‘Real Housewives Of New York’

Bethenny Frankel didn’t have a lot of money when she first joined The Real Housewives of New York. Jill Zarin flocked around her because she was the underdog of the show, as she was open about her business struggles. Frankel struggled to pay her bills, and she tried everything to create a successful business. She was selling cookies at grocery stores and cooked for celebrities in the Hamptons. But a few years ago, her net worth was boosted when she told her Skinnygirl Cocktails to Jim Beam for a reported $100 million.

According to a new Radar Online report, Bethenny Frankel‘s net worth could increase after working out a new deal with Bravo for the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of New York. As it turns out, Frankel got over $1.5 million for the latest season of the show, and this doesn’t sit well with some of her co-stars.

Sources have told Page Six that Bethenny is leading the cast battle to get salary increases. Apparently, Frankel is getting more money as she has “been deemed reliable reality TV … she is controlled chaos,” according to Radar Online.

Frankel knows how to stir up the drama on the show, as she essentially led the drama against Luann de Lesseps and her relationship with Thomas D’Agostino on this season of The Real Housewives of New York. But it sounds like her co-stars aren’t happy with the way they are treated on the show in comparison to the money they receive.

“They can’t pay everyone $1 million — they can’t afford that,” an insider has revealed about the remaining cast, as they all want the same salary that Bethenny is getting.

According to Radar Online, Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps are supposedly making upwards of $400,000 per season. While that’s still a great amount of money, it’s only a third of the amount that Bethenny Frankel is currently making.

“There is the usual back-stabbing, claw-digging and nastiness” happening between the ladies behind the scenes and this had become an issue when the women started making different salaries, adding, “When the show first started, these women were making $15,000 for the season.”

Last season, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps supposedly refused to film the show before they got a payment increase. Radar Online revealed that the ladies weren’t keen to film with anyone because they wanted more money. They eventually returned to the show, but it doesn’t sound like Bravo gave them more money. The only person who may be able to rake in more money for the show is Bethenny Frankel. And she could be thinking about leaving the show, as she doesn’t appreciate her business and her personal life being attacked on the show.

If Bethenny gets $1.5 million from filming the show, she could be growing her overall net worth. A few years ago, rumor had it that she sold parts of her company for an estimated $100 million. That amount has never been confirmed, and it is possible that the amount is lower than that. After her divorce and years of paying court fees, child support and spousal support, Bethenny Frankel’s new net worth for 2016 is around $25 million, according to a quick Google search. But it sounds like her book sales, radio show, and television appearances may be boosting her overall net worth, as she’s continuing to create products.

What do you think of Bethenny Frankel’s growing net worth? Do you think she will stay on the show since she’s boosting her net worth with a million dollars?
