‘Teen Mom 2’ Kailyn Lowry Continues Hawaiian Vacation, Plans New Tattoo Amid Javi Marroquin Divorce

Kailyn Lowry isn’t letting her divorce get to her. Instead, the Teen Mom 2 star continues to travel and spend time with friends.

As she prepares to end her marriage to Javi Marroquin after just 3 years, the reality star and mother has embarked on her latest vacation, which took her to Hawaii, and while there, she made plans for a new tattoo.

“Tattoos then back to Maui,” Kailyn Lowry wrote to her fans and followers on September 13.

Although Kailyn Lowry typically debuts her new ink quite quickly, she has yet to post any further messages or photos of her time in Hawaii, which will soon come to an end.

Prior to Kailyn Lowry’s trip to Hawaii, she enjoyed another tropical vacation with her children, six-year-old Isaac and two-year-old Lincoln. The trip took place earlier this summer just a short time before her husband, Marroquin, arrived home from Qatar after a months-long deployment with the Air Force.

As fans now know, Kailyn Lowry’s marriage to Javi Marroquin came to an end while he was deployed due to a number of issues seen on the show, and several issues that have been hinted at over the past few weeks on social media. On Teen Mom 2, Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin were first seen at odds during Season 7 after Lowry tragically suffered a miscarriage. Then, as the season continued, Lowry and Marroquin’s marriage became further strained after Lowry changed her mind about expanding their family.

While Kailyn Lowry was on board with having more children in late 2015 when she became pregnant, her mind changed after suffering a miscarriage, and she decided to instead focus on the two kids she has as well as her career. Meanwhile, Marroquin was left disappointed as he wants to have more children and later informed his wife that because she was unwilling to have another child, they had no future.

Last month, both Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin traveled to New York City to attend the MTV Video Music Awards, but while Lowry walked the red carpet, Marroquin did not. Instead, he enjoyed the show and at least one VMA-related party, during which he spoke to press about his divorce from Lowry.

“Our first priority is Lincoln’s happiness and Isaac’s happiness. Our second is for them to see both of their parents happy, and together we’re both not happy,” he explained to Us Weekly. “I think we both decided that this is the best move and she’ll be happy and I’ll be happy. We coparent; that’s it. So unless it has to do with the boys, we don’t talk. I have nothing to say to her.”

For the past several months, rumors of Kailyn Lowry’s possible cheating have been swirling but during the interview, Marroquin played coy on the topic.

“I don’t wanna put too much out there, but [Kailyn Lowry] knows what she did. It’ll come out,” Marroquin explained. “What’s done in the night will show in the light. It’ll all unravel. I just gotta keep my mouth shut and watch everything unfold. [Kailyn] apologized for hurting me. She didn’t apologize for what she did. Those are two different things.”

“[Kailyn Lowry]’s changed a lot,” he continued. “I left for six months and a lot has changed, so sometimes I don’t even know if I know who she is anymore. She’s living a different life than I thought we were going to.”
