Kristen Stewart Prefers To Wear Two Undies During Sex Scene?

Kristen Stewart recently revealed what it was like to shoot an erotic scene in her award-winning French-German film, Clouds of Sils Maria.

Apart from portraying a teen, who falls in love with an immortal in Twilight, Kristen Stewart is known to play a varied number of roles in such short duration. The Twilight starlet has proved in the recent time that she cannot be typecast. Over the years, Stewart has amazed the fans and critics by accepting some challenging roles in films like Adventureland, Camp X-Ray, Anesthesia, American Ultra and The Runaways.

Among such roles, Stewart’s portrayal of Valentine in Clouds of Sils Maria has given her a worldwide recognition.

Directed by Olivier Assayas, Clouds of Sils Maria follows an established, middle-aged actress (Juliette Binoche) who is cast to play the role of an older lover in a romantic lesbian drama film, alongside a young actress (Chloe Grace Moretz). The middle-aged actress is overcome with personal insecurities and professional jealousies — all while she is involved in a sexual relationship with her personal assistant (Stewart).

Clouds of Sils Maria premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and garnered positive reviews from the critics and fans. Rotten Tomatoes gave the film 89 percent based on 146 reviews with an average rating of 7.5 out of 10.

The review aggregator’s consensus reads, “Bolstered by a trio of powerful performances from its talented leads, Clouds of Sils Maria is an absorbing, richly detailed drama with impressive depth and intelligence.”

In the past, Stewart has done her fair share of sexual and erotic scenes on camera. However, it does not mean that it is easy for her. In her interview with Vanity Fair, the actress reportedly revealed how intimidating it was to get her clothes off in front of her legendary co-star Binoche in Clouds of Sils Maria.

In the interview, it was asked about a particular nude scene in which all the female leads of the movie go into a lake. In the scene, Stewart chose not to remove her underwear as she was self-conscious. Stewart also revealed that she literally wore two pairs of underwear.

“Once she started taking her clothes off and I started taking my clothes off I was just like, ‘Oh my God, I can’t f***ing get naked around her.’ I felt self-conscious as Valentine. I fully represented this American sort of modest self-consciousness and she, like, 100 percent started exuding her freedom. I completely assumed my own identity and went, ‘Nope. F**k it. I’m sticking with undies.'”

For her portrayal of Valentine, Kristen Stewart received the prestigious Cesar Award for Best Supporting Actress in February 2015.

Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart is having a great time with Alicia Cargile.

According to Aceshowbiz via IndiaSamvad, the couple has finally decided to take their relationship to a new level, and if things will go right then they will get married by the end of this year.

In her recent interview, Stewart revealed that Cargile motivates her on every level, and there was a time when she was afraid to speak about her relationship in front of media, but now things have changed for her.

“I would never talk about any of my relationships before, but once I started dating girls it seemed like there was an opportunity to represent something really positive. I still want to protect my personal life, but I don’t want to seem like I’m protecting the idea, so that does sort of feel like I owe something to people,” she further added.

Kristen Stewart’s fans will get to see her onscreen on October 14 when she will portray the role of Beth Travis in Kelly Reichardt’s Certain Woman. Apart from this, she is will also feature in Ang Lee’s next directorial film, Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk.
