Lana Del Rey’s Bride Wedding Dress Trend For Honeymoon Tour

If you want to follow Lana Del Rey’s fashion trends for 2016, consider buying a white wedding dress with a short skirt.

Lana Del Rey is known for setting trends after she wears something at a concert, and the theme that emerged from her unofficial 2016 Honeymoon Festival Tour is definitely focused on the bride and/or wedding fashion.

In a long list of many examples from her 2016 performances, her recent August 28 show at the Ohana Festival in Dana Point, California, shows Lana Del Rey continuing a previously set theme by choosing a lacy white dress.

About her performance at Ohana, OC Register writes Lana Del Rey wore “a white, long sleeved baby doll dress [with] her long, dark hair loose… smiling and sultry through seductive songs… with the opening lyric too explicit to print here.”

In Tralee, Ireland, for the Electric Picnic Festival on September 2, Lana Del Rey was winding down her unofficial Honeymoon Tour, and this may be why she chose to wear a dress that had a combination of white and the other color she wore this year, yellow.

What will be interesting for fans is to see if she will change her look in any way for the November show in Mexico City because, so far, Lana Del Rey has been sporting the wedding fashion theme for most of the unofficial Honeymoon Festival Tour.

Interestingly, Lana Del Rey started the year of festivals after her Honeymoon album was released by not wearing a wedding-themed outfit. On February 9, she performed at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, California, and Lana Del Rey wore a red shirt tucked into a printed skirt with a light background.

Nevertheless, when Lana Del Rey kicked off her unofficial festival tour on June 3 at the Orange Festival in Warsaw, Poland, she was wearing a white dress that looked like something a bride would wear if she was married on the beach.

If fans were not aware of the theme, Lana Del Rey emphasized wedding clothing when she introduced her new backup singers on July 9 at the TW Classic in Werchter, Belgium.

In particular, the backup singers looked like brides because they were holding bouquets and mimicked Lana Del Rey by wearing wedding-style dresses. As a matter of fact, except for three performances in 2016, Lana Del Rey repeated the delicate, white dress theme and the backup singers were also wearing white dresses to look like brides.

A day later on July 10, Lana Del Rey performed at the Park Live Festival in Moscow, Russia, and she kept repeating the wedding fashion theme with her concert outfits.

In the past, Lana Del Rey was known for introducing the daisy chain hair accessory, and at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland on July 13, she mimicked that past trend with a bride-style pearled headband. Again, her backup singers had the wedding theme complete with bride’s bouquets in their hand.

A couple of days later on July 15 at the Moon And Stars Festival in Locarno, Switzerland, Lana Del Rey wore a new dress as always, but definitely kept the bride theme.

A couple of days later, on July 15 to 17 at the Vieilles Charrues Festival in Carhaix, France, Lana Del Rey was amazing again with the wedding theme, but changed up the hair accessory.

Outside of festivals, Lana Del Rey performed for the Leonardo Dicaprio Saint-Tropez Gala. At a cocktail dress event on July 19, Lana Del Rey decided to keep the same bride dress theme that she wore at her previous summer performances.

On July 28 at Lollapalooza in Chicago, Illinois, instead of changing into a new theme for the 25th anniversary of the festival, Lana Del Rey was on a roll for the wedding fashion presentation, but might have shown off her best bridal gown and floral headpiece of the entire Honeymoon Tour.

Despite this, just a few days later, Lana Del Rey changed up her white wedding dress routine for the Osheaga Festival in Montreal, Canada, from July 29 to 31 by wearing a pale yellow, lacy version of the wedding dress.

As if she was signaling something important, Lana Del Rey also had a yellow bride-style dress for her following concert on August 5 at the Outside Lands festival in San Francisco, California.

As the festival season winds down, Lana Del Rey is back to wearing white wedding dresses at her Ohana and Electric Picnic concerts, but she only has one show date left in 2016. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Lana Del Rey recently had to cancel her show on October 1 at the Live Out Festival in Monterrey, Mexico.

Thankfully for her fans, Lana Del Rey immediately rescheduled to play the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City on November 19 to 21, according to MXDWN.
