Fans Furious At Amal Clooney After She Pulls Out Of Speaking Tour
Amal Clooney has reportedly enraged fans after she pulled out of a speaking tour for Women World Changers in Australia. Those in attendance will instead be hearing Waleed Aly.
The human rights lawyer was to speak at events in Melbourne and Sydney this coming October, but is no longer able to attend the event due to legal commitments involving various cases she is working on. Attendees shared their frustration after paying $825 for the tickets with the forethought they would be seeing Clooney speak. The Daily Mail shares the words of one purchaser who raises a valid point.
“I paid $825 to see Amal, not Waleed Aly.”
Aly is a television news presenter and is now slated to host the event. Some individuals paid an even higher price at $2200 per ticket for additionally meeting Clooney, so it is not known as of yet whether those individuals will receive a refund or not. Despite other well-known speakers in the lineup at the events, they simply do not have the draw and fan base that Amal does.

It was via email on Thursday that the news was broken to 1,000 women who had signed up to attend the Women World Changers Summit, which was organized by The Growth Faculty. The publication notes the message which resulted in frustration for many, over learning Clooney had withdrawn.
“We are writing to advise that The Growth Faculty has received notice that Amal Clooney has been called to hearings at The Hague over the conference dates and will not be available to attend the Women World Changers Summit in October.”
Karen Beattie, the event organizer, shared that attendees will be notified when a new keynote speaker is confirmed. It has been reported that Indira Naidoo is set to host the event in Sydney.

Unfortunately, although Amal Clooney is a respected barrister who works on extremely high-profile cases, she often finds herself on the tabloids due to rumors churned out involving her and Hollywood star husband George Clooney. The two are set to celebrate their wedding anniversary this month, yet are constantly a part of rumors involving trouble in their marriage, and often the tales paint Amal to be the reserved, stern and jealous wife to the star. Most recently, there was a story flying about that claimed Amal was jealous of her husband’s friendship with former supermodel Cindy Crawford. Oz Zone News shared words of a supposed informant about how Amal Clooney supposedly views the situation.
“This revelation struck-Amal…if George compares Amal and Cindy, he believes that Alamuddin is not attractive? But who’s going to argue with Clooney? All who have ever seen Crawford to agree with those that she always looks perfect.”
The publication goes on to suggest that Amal is now considering leaving her leading man, based on the status of the two and the differences between them in regard to career and accomplishments.
“[The] human rights activist is already thinking about the advisability of her marriage with George and intends to divorce him, even if he were to mention Cindy in conversation. How these messages are true, figure out difficult at the moment. We only hope that Amal and George are really enjoying life together and having a good time.”
These claims, however, have since been debunked by Gossip Cop. Amal is not jealous of Cindy Crawford, and the two have been pictured side-by-side laughing and looking happy in one another’s company, as George and Cindy’s husband Rande Gerber catch up. Additionally, the Clooneys are still smitten and as much invested in their union as they were the day they tied the knot.
