Desiigner was arrested last night on drug and felony charges. The “Panda” singer pulled out a gun during a road rage incident, according to the Inquisitr. What will Kanye think of the rapper’s arrest? After all, Desiigner was just recently signed to Kanye West’s music label G.O.O.D. Music.

Desiigner was arrested during the road rage incident and was found with prescription drugs, marijuana, and Oxycontin. The rapper is also being charged with intent to sell.
Sidney Royel Selby III, aka Desiigner, is an American hip-hop recording artist from Brooklyn. The rapper rose to prominence after releasing his debut single “Panda.” The song landed Desiigner a number one spot on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart.
In February of 2016, rapper and music producer Kanye West announced that he had signed Desiigner to his G.O.O.D Music label, under the aegis of Def Jam Recordings. Kanye West even sampled “Panda” on his latest album, Life of Pablo.

Although he is new to the charts, Desiigner has been around music his entire life, but it was not always a life of luxury for this music artist.
The first Sidney Selby, Desiigner’s grandfather, went by the name “Guitar Crusher” and performed with acts like the Drifters and the Isley Brothers, according to Billboard.
Desiigner was raised in the Louis Armstrong Houses, a public housing development in Brooklyn, and he explained, “It’s not really a place you want to be.”
Desiigner was shot at age 14 and says that it only made him pursue music with more urgency.
The rapper began working on “Panda” in late 2014 when a friend came across a beat by then-unknown producer Menace. Desiigner bought the beat for $200 and self-released the song last December.
The song quickly garnered millions of views. The self-released song has nearly 300 million views on YouTube. Desiigner has since made a music video for the single with the help of Kanye West. The Vevo video page has close to 150 million views.
Kanye West had had his eye on Desiigner and flew him out to Lo s Angeles in late January to play “Father Stretch My Hands” from his album Life of Pablo, which samples a large chunk of “Panda.”
What will Kanye think of Desiigner’s recent arrest? After taking him under his wing and signing him to his G.O.O.D. Music label, West is not going to be happy that Desiigner has gotten himself caught up in all of this legal drama.
Desiigner’s out-of-nowhere hit single has been controversial in rap circles. Kanye has helped him steer clear of getting into beef with other artists and instead focus on the music.
Other rappers in the hip-hop industry have been comparing Desiigner’s sound to Atlanta rapper Future.
Despite what other rappers say, the people are loving Desiigner’s sound, and he appeared to be getting his music career off to a great start. Last month, Desiigner released another single “Timmy Turner,” which also gained millions of views.
Last month, Desiigner unexpectedly dropped another song “New English.” Fans were definitely excited to be hearing new music from the rapper.
Desiigner was reportedly working on his first album, Life of Designer, which may have to be put on hold so that the rapper can handle his legal issues.
Desiigner and the five friends he was arrested with remain in police custody, according to TMZ.
Kanye West has not commented on Desiigner’s arrest at this time.
