Josh Murray And Amanda Stanton 2016: Has ‘Bachelorette’ Star Been Abusive?

Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton got engaged on the season finale of Bachelor in Paradise, and it sounds like this relationship may be the one both Josh and Amanda have been looking for. As it turns out, Josh really wanted to find love this year, as he went on both Bachelor in Paradise and Famously Single, which sadly made him look desperate. When he showed up in paradise, Murray went straight for Stanton even though Nick Viall had already started dating her a bit. Amanda was more than willing to jump into a relationship with Josh.

According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report, Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton are now engaged, and he has moved to California to be close with Amanda and her two daughters. Fans are now curious as to whether Andi Dorfman’s book about Murray is true. Has she seen some of the signs that Andi wrote about, or has Josh Murray been the perfect man since returning home from paradise?

“He hasn’t been controlling,” Amanda has revealed to Us Weekly about his behavior, adding, “He’s definitely not abusive. We’re on a show where everyone is dating each other, so I think a little bit of jealousy is almost cute and flattering. Everyone’s a little bit jealous.”

Throughout the show, Josh Murray kept fighting off stories and rumors about himself, as many people had read the book that Andi had written. In the book, It’s Not Okay, Dorfman called Josh Murray controlling, possessive, jealous, and downright abusive. Murray has called the book fictional and even said it was full of lies. But now, he’s changing his tune and admits that there are some truths within the book, adding to Us Weekly that he knows “pretty much everything she wrote.”

“Yes, there’s a trueness in there, but it’s twisted in such a way that makes it the worst lie possible because it’s believable. I’m not perfect by any means, but I think I’m pretty decent!” Josh Murray revealed to the magazine about his portrayal in the book.

This is more in line with what Viall has said. He has said that Andi has stretched the truth a few times, but is truthful about what she says about him. While he doesn’t go into details, it sounds like he wants Amanda to be worry-free when it comes to him.

“Amanda has nothing to worry about whatsoever. I’m just going to be the best person I can be all the time. That’s all I can do,” Josh Murray has revealed about his relationship with Amadan, adding that they’re doing amazing and calls the Cali girl his “calming force” that “helps bring that inner peace to me.”
