Kate Middleton Bottomless, Topless Photos Generating Fortune For Porn Sites

The Kate Middleton bottomless photos are generating a lot of headaches for the Duchess of Cambridge and lawsuits for the magazines that have dared to publish the secretly taken photos, but the pictures are generating something else too: a lot of money for the porn sites that link to them.

An analysis by the Telegraph‘s Willard Foxton found that Kate Middleton was the third most popular “porn babes” searched on freeones.co.uk, a site that aggregates free pictures of mostly porn actresses with some celebrities mixed in. She has since fallen out of the top five, but Foxton predicts that will rise again after Danish magazine Se og Her published photos of Kate Middleton bottomless.

He linked to a graph that showed a huge spike in people looking for nude pictures of Kate Middleton online, searches that “undoubtedly channeled a huge amount of cash into the pockets of a huge amount of people making their living on the internet.”

Foxton writes:

“We all know there’s a huge market for celebrity snaps – and especially for nude or racy celeb pictures. What I didn’t realise before writing on this topic was just how much money is available for intimate pictures of the famous. While the photographers can make hundreds of thousands, there is a vast ecology of sites – places like TMZ – who will report and repost any new images, then sit back and let the traffic and the money roll in. Closer magazine may have paid for the pictures, but it’s others who have made the real money from them.”

“With the amounts of money ramping up, the lengths people will go to get these pictures are also increasing in sophistication. As I mentioned in the original article, I’d heard reports of paps using radio controlled drones to get snaps on private beaches, in hotel penthouses and the like. Since then, I’ve been sent links to footage shot by an Australian doc crew who went to Cannes with some paps, who were using drones to get pictures of Paris Hilton as early as 2008.”

And with only a few dozen photos published of the estimated 270 being peddled of Kate Middleton secretly taken while she was sunbathing, Foxton estimates that the web popularity of Kate Middleton could continue for quite some time.

The Kate Middleton bottomless photos published by Se og Hor were taken at the same time as her topless photos, the magazine’s editor implied. Editor Kim Henningsen reportedly told the Belfast Telegraph that his magazine was offered some 240 pictures but chose about 70.
