Liam Hemsworth Bans Miley Cyrus Double-Dates With The ‘Voice’ Cast Like ‘Jealous’ Gwen Stefani?

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are enjoying their romance together as she takes on a new role as a coach on The Voice. The show’s coaching cast, including Miley, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Alicia Keys, spend long hours together, so it might seem like a possibility that Cyrus and Hemsworth could propose a double date with one or more of the other coaches. But that’s not how Liam sees it, because he is protective of his relationship with Cyrus, an insider told Hollywood Life.

In particular, some fans have been speculating that Blake and his girlfriend Gwen Stefani might be planning double dates with Miley and her man. But that’s not what Liam wants, said the source.

“[Hemsworth] has met everyone… and is friendly… but right now he isn’t interested in doing any type of double dating with Adam, Blake or even Alicia.”

Instead, Liam has reportedly decided that he prefers to have his relationship with Cyrus focus on just the two of them. He also allegedly wants to avoid the publicity that would inevitably accompany any type of double dates with other stars of The Voice.

“He kind of wants what he has with Miley just to be their own thing and isn’t interested in broadcasting it and being seen out at a restaurant with other couples,” explained the insider.

As for how Cyrus feels about the ban on double-dating, the source noted that she would like to persuade him to try double-dating with other coaches. However, Miley also is content with Hemsworth’s desire to focus on their own romance rather than take a dip in the double-dating pool.

“Miley would like to change his mind, but she also wants to respect Liam’s space and how he wants to use his time,” clarified the source. “And if he wants to spend his time to be more devoted to their relationship, then she is perfectly happy with that.”

As for the possibility that Cyrus can persuade Hemsworth to try double-dating with Gwen and Blake? It’s not just Liam she has to lure, because Stefani is jealous of Miley when it comes to Shelton, according to a source cited by Hollywood Life.

Gwen and Blake reportedly are planning their wedding, and the list includes other coaches both past and present, with the exception of Cyrus. Stefani is allegedly worried that Miley will enchant Shelton with her “famously sexy style and flirtatious personality,” according to Hollywood Life.

“Gwen can’t help but feel jealous.”

The source pointed out that Blake is always has a friendly attitude, but Stefani is worried that without her on set to supervise, Cyrus just might “misinterpret that as something else.” As for how that translates into a decision not to invite Miley to the wedding?

“Gwen wants to make sure Miley stays in her lane and doesn’t get flirty with Blake,” added the insider.

That leaves the possibility that Cyrus and Hemsworth might double-date with Alicia Keys or Adam Levine. But Radar Online’s insider revealed that Cyrus is a “wild child” when it comes to how she behaves on The Voice, and her antics allegedly have adversely impacted her relationship with both Alicia and Adam.

“Adam and Miley are at each other’s throats this season and Adam acts like he cannot stand her,” shared the source. “He does not talk to her when the cameras are not rolling, and seems like he really wants nothing to do with her.”

Consequently, the two are involved in a feud, added the insider, and it’s partly due to Cyrus’ attitude on the set.

“Miley showed up like she owned the place and Adam seems just really tired of her interjecting every single time he is speaking!” explained the insider.

Levine isn’t sitting back when it comes to the situation, and that’s where reportedly Alicia comes in. Adam and Keys are already bonded in a friendship against Team Miley, revealed the source.

“Alicia has taken Adam’s side in his stance against Miley. They have… a pact to help each other out and side with each other to make sure that Team Miley does NOT win!”
