‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Was Jason And Sam’s Simple Wedding Everything Fans Had Hoped It Would Be?

Jason and Sam have found their way back to each other on ABC’s General Hospital and this past week viewers got to see them get married for the second time. This time around was a bit different than their first marriage.

First off, Jason Morgan has a new face and is not quite the same as before. Secondly, they had the most important people in their lives watching them get hitched. It was a nice romantic ceremony for Jason and Sam, but was it all that viewers were hoping for?

JaSam fans were gearing up for this special moment to happen. It was a long time coming for these two and excitement was in the air. The wedding did go off without a hitch, but it looks like the honeymoon will have to wait a bit longer, as Jason made a quick exit when he learned of Elizabeth’s dire condition.

The newly wedded Sam ended up at The Floating Rib with Spinelli chowing down on barbecued ribs on her wedding night, as Soap Shows had posted.

Sam seemed fine with it because she got her man, but viewers of General Hospital may not have been so happy about the interruption. Of course, it wasn’t Elizabeth’s fault that she got shoved down the stairs and is now fighting for her life. It is obvious that Jason still cares about her and he also needs to deal with their son Jake as well. Jason told Jake about his mom and now they are both waiting at the hospital to hear news about her condition.

Jason and Sam had a fun and romantic wedding at Sonny and Carly’s place. The most important people in their lives were there, including Jake and little Danny. Sam hasn’t been this happy for a long time and it was nice to see her huge smile that lit up her face.

This new Jason (Billy Miller) is more light-hearted than the older version of Jason (Steve Burton). The title of Stone Cold doesn’t seem to fit anymore and that made Jason and Sam’s nuptials a little different than before. That seems to be the case when another actor steps into a role that someone else has perfected for so long and it is especially true when it comes to Jason Morgan.

JaSam also spilled the beans about Sam’s unexpected pregnancy to Sonny, Carly, and Spinelli after the ceremony. The fact that she was not drinking champagne was noticed and so they made the announcement. It looks like these lovebirds are well on their way to the future that they so desperately want.

So, what did General Hospital fans think of this wedding? Most were happy with the whole affair, but of course, there were comments made mostly about the fact that Monica chose to work instead of showing up to her son’s wedding. In addition, some were not thrilled that Elizabeth was the cause of Jason having to leave his bride on their wedding day.

Some General Hospital fans were also commenting on the fact that Sam was more into the nuptials than Jason, or at least the actors portraying them. They were not impressed with how unemotional Jason seemed to be compared to the excitement that Kelly Monaco displayed. However, these two are now husband and wife and that was the goal.

Sam had confided to Spinelli that she was okay with Jason running off to make sure Liz was okay. She and Elizabeth had both moved on with their lives and Sam said that she was even grateful to Liz for encouraging her to tell Jason about the pregnancy.

Sam has snagged her man and has a bundle of joy on the way, while Elizabeth is heading towards a possible romance with Franco. However, as the General Hospital spoilers for Friday have been posted by Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Elizabeth is hemorrhaging badly and needs blood.

Of course, they don’t have enough of her specific blood type on hand and that is where Hayden Barnes comes in. Franco will go to her to ask her to save her secret sister’s life. Will he end up telling her the truth about Liz?

Right now Jason is with Jake at the hospital waiting to make sure Liz will make it through the surgery and Sam seems to be fine with that for now. While this may not be a great start to their marriage, they should soon be reunited to spend their wedding night together, unless something else goes wrong.
