Vets Grill Clinton, Trump At NBC Forum, Voters Are Disgusted

Voters are disgusted with their 2016 presidential candidates, per their notes of disrespect and disdain on Twitter, Reddit, and other remarks left on the world wide web, and some voters even suspect and/or believe Clinton was “cheating” perhaps because she seemed to be wearing an earpiece to connect with some nameless other mind during the Commander-in-Chief forum with NBC’s Matt Lauer and the veterans assembled in New York on Wednesday evening.

This first Twitter comment is from James Wood, an apparently very disgusted voter and actor, regarding Hillary Clinton’s Wednesday night statement that “[w]e did not lose a single American” in Libya.

Of course, other disgusted voters paying attention already understand that from Clinton’s own emails with her daughter Chelsea Clinton/aka Diane Reynolds, provided now online by the State Department because of the Freedom of Information Act also known as FOIA requests, she knew at least two brave men had died in Benghazi, Libya, by the email time stamp of “Tuesday, September 11, 2012 08:51 PM.”

Clinton was in her office at the time of that conversation with her daughter, per the FOIA’s email that was finally revealed on November 30, 2015, because of the disgusted voters who thought something nefarious might be up over there at the Department of State.

Per the transcript of dialog over at Time online, provided in a post by Ryan Teague Beckwith, it was an Air Force veteran who seemed to hit the hardest at Clinton.

She was introduced as being a Democrat and having served for about a decade as an intelligence specialist for “countering violent extremism.” She’s worried that Clinton’s “hawkish foreign policy” might continue if elected to succeed Obama, and there might be no end to “wasteful war campaigns” where her peers in the military would “continue to be killed and wounded.”

Clinton opted to introduce her answer by inferring this question meant to ask for an account on her congressional vote for the Iraq War and the role the former secretary of State played in the Obama administration’s decision “to take on Gaddafi.”

“With respect to Libya, again, there’s no difference between my opponent and myself…. I put together a coalition that included NATO, included the Arab League, and we were able to save lives. We did not lose a single American in that action.”

Another hard-hitting question came from Lieutenant Jon Lester, who began his military career in the Air Force before he switched over to the Navy before retiring. He flew the P-3 orions during Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Lester, apparently, is a Republican. He first thanked Clinton for coming to answer questions and then stated he also had access to “top secret” and “highly sensitive” information, just as she did.

“As a naval flight officer, I held a top secret sensitive compartmentalized information clearance. And that provided me access to materials and information highly sensitive to our warfighting capabilities. Had I communicated this information not following prescribed protocols, I would have been prosecuted and imprisoned.”

Then Lieutenant Lester asked the big question on many voters’ minds of Clinton.

“Secretary Clinton, how can you expect those such as myself who were and are entrusted with America’s most sensitive information to have any confidence in your leadership as president when you clearly corrupted our national security?”

Hillary Clinton has likely dealt with disgusted voters before, but this one seemed to rankle her a bit.

“Well, I appreciate your concern and also your experience. But let me try to make the distinctions that I think are important for me to answer your question.”

Clinton launched in to those “distinctions” by stating “… I know classified material is designated. It is marked. There is a header so that there is no dispute at all that what is being communicated to or from someone who has that access is marked classified.”

But then she announced that she had “communicated about classified material on a wholly separate system.” Her server statement is presented then, for the curiously disgusted voters.

“And what we have here is the use of an unclassified system by hundreds of people in our government to send information that was not marked, there were no headers, there was no statement, top secret, secret, or confidential. I communicated about classified material on a wholly separate system. I took it very seriously.”

About the Clinton earpiece issue, a tweet for the True Pundit story seems relevant, given New York Police Department security observed it and they seem to be witness to the device worn.

To the Clinton earbud first, her campaign is denying that she wore an earpiece during the 30-minute interview, per the story of it over on Fox News. To be clear, it did seem as if there might be some type of flesh-colored, micro earbud in an ear as Clinton answered questions posed to her. Media stories highlight the point that this is the same type of device actors would use to help them with lines during a performance.

From online images, there can be seen a” shiny reflection,” but her campaign faithfully deny it. Such is politics. But a post over at True Pundit states they have confirmation from the NYPD.

Previously from another secret email dump, Twitter user Mark Anderson states that he finds evidence this has been an accepted route to go with Clinton per her own aides.

Anyone wanting a Clinton email scandal refresher can see one on Reddit. Lauer’s interview with Donald Trump also revealed much, some of which has been previously reported on at the Inquisitr. But to some disgusted voters, the candidate perhaps got one thing right, it seems.

“We have a divided country. We have a country where you have Hillary Clinton with her e-mails that nobody’s ever seen where she deletes 33,000 e-mails, and that’s after getting a subpoena from Congress. If you do that in private business, you get thrown in jail.”
