Adam Levine Hits New Orleans With Maroon 5 As Behati Prinsloo Nears Her Due Date

Adam Levine and his band, Maroon 5, performed a show in New Orleans last night, just weeks before The Voice coach’s wife, Behati Prinsloo, is due to give birth to their first child, a baby girl.

After announcing earlier this week that some their upcoming performances would be rescheduled due to his baby’s impending birth, Adam Levine took to social media with a new photo of himself on the road.

On Instagram on September 7, Adam Levine shared a photo of himself on stage with the caption, “New Orleans Vibes.”

Adam Levine and his wife, Prinsloo, began dating in 2012 and got married in 2014, about one year after their engagement. Since then, Levine and Prinsloo have often spoken about their desires for a big family and at the end of May, Levine confirmed their family was officially growing with a photo of Prinsloo’s baby bump on Instagram.

Last Friday, Adam Levine spoke of his wife’s upcoming due date in a post to fans on Instagram, in which he apologized for the delay of his tour dates. Then, on the band’s official website, it was revealed that Maroon 5’s upcoming performances in Albany, Montreal, Quebec, Buffalo, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Milwaukee had been rescheduled to February and March of next year.

“Even when you think you’ve planned everything perfectly, sometimes life just kinda happens,” Adam Levine said in a statement to fans, via Entertainment Tonight. “Soon Behati and I will be celebrating the birth of our first child and, as I’m sure you all understand, I need to be there. I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone in the spring.”

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo’s baby girl is due on September 20 and Levine has reportedly cleared his calendar for the two weeks ahead of the child’s date just in case she comes early.

As Adam Levine and his wife prepare to become parents for the very first time, rumors have been continuously swirling regarding Levine’s possible on-set feud with his newest co-star on The Voice, Miley Cyrus.

When NBC first brought Miley Cyrus to the show earlier this year, Radar Online claimed the two stars had not hit it off and instead began feuding just weeks into production.

“[Adam Levine] and Miley were non-stop bickering during their last taping together,” an insider told the outlet in March. “He nitpicks almost every single thing she says. Adam seems to find Miley to be extremely loud-mouthed and absolutely annoying!”

According to the report, Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton had been feuding during production on The Voice Season 10 after Aguilera replaced Gwen Stefani, Shelton’s girlfriend, on the show.

“Blake hates the fact that Gwen is no longer with him in the judges’ chairs this season,” an on-set source explained. “Everyone knows this and he is taking it out on Christina, and they are not getting a long at all.”

Due to her ongoing spat with Shelton, Aguilera reportedly enlisted Cyrus to join the show for The Voice Season 11 in hopes that Stefani would not be asked to return to the panel. However, after Adam Levine’s alleged feud with his new co-star, “executives are now second-guessing their decision to bring Miley Cyrus on full time because she cannot get along with [Adam Levine] to save her life!”

Adam Levine and his co-stars, including Shelton, Cyrus and Alicia Keys, who is also new for The Voice Season 11, return to NBC on September 19 at 8 p.m.
