‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Star Carly Waddell Claims She Would Marry Evan Bass ‘Tomorrow’

They may have started as an unlikely couple, but Carly Waddell and Evan Bass proved their romance could work on Bachelor in Paradise.

Following their surprising engagement during the finale, Waddell and Bass couldn’t be happier.

In an interview with People, Waddell admitted that she has zero regrets about how things turned out on Bachelor in Paradise and is looking forward to whatever comes next.

“Everything happened for a reason,” she explained. “It’s been a long journey for me in Bachelor Nation, but I would do it a thousand times again. Because the next part is going to be bliss.”

After Bass popped the big question, the two have been spending more and more time alone, without cameras constantly filming them.

Bass and Waddell both reside in Nashville. Bass has three boys, Nathan, 15, Liam, 11, and Ensley, eight, all of whom Waddell is still getting to know better.

“We have great communication,” she added. “It’s what we had as friends, and it’s what keeps us in love.”

Bass added, “I’m not your normal dude that’s on these shows. I’m definitely more emotional. And she accepts me. I love that.”

In addition to getting to know each other on a personal level, Waddell can’t wait to tie the knot.

“I just love Evan. I would marry him tomorrow!”

Bass surprised everyone when he got down on one knee during the Season 3 finale of Bachelor in Paradise.

According to E! Online, Waddell was just as surprised as anyone by the proposal.

“You would think that I would go out there knowing, but it shocked me, honestly,” Waddell admitted.

A few months have passed since their engagement, but Waddell isn’t ready to start the wedding planning just yet.

Instead, she plans on spending some quality time with Bass without the pressure of reality TV.

“We haven’t set a date,” Bass revealed. “We’re going to live some real life and see how it goes. We’re sort of anti-pressure, really. We’re just not going to put a lot of pressure on our relationship. We’re just going to move forward and have fun, and when the time is right to get married, we’ll do it.”

Who will be invited to the wedding?

Waddell shared that Juelia Kinney and Jade Roper will be invited to the nuptials, which will be officiated by a surprise guest.

“In Paradise, I told Nick [Viall] that he could officiate the wedding,” Bass stated.

“The other day, on Facetime, he was like, by the way, I’m still officiating,” Waddell continued. “I was like, all right Nick. That’s on you, buddy.”

Unfortunately, it still isn’t clear if Waddell and Bass will televise their wedding for Bachelor Nation. In fact, the couple is looking forward to being out of the spotlight for the next couple of months.

“We’re looking forward to not being on TV for a while,” Bass stated.

“We’ll think about that when we think about that,” Waddell added.

In the meantime, Waddell has already started moving into Bass’s condo in Nashville. That includes Waddell’s new puppy, which has already started causing friction between the two.

“Actually, when we went to pick [the dog] up, he wouldn’t talk to me for like an hour. It was the biggest fight we’ve ever had,” she stated.

At the same time, Bustle is reporting that Waddell is already warming up to Bass’ boys and has even started talking about expanding his family.

Of course, it might be a while before Bass and Waddell start having kids together.

Still, it is clear that Waddell and Bass are still very much in love with each other. The only real question remaining is when they will tie the knot and make everything official.
