Did Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez Instagram War Cheating Claims Ruin Zayn Malik And Gigi Hadid Love?
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez recently blew up Instagram with their war of words that included allegations of cheating. And even though Justin has subsequently exited Instagram (at least for now), while Selena has apologized, the accusations of cheating still remain. Both Gomez and Bieber accused each other of being unfaithful, and Zayn Malik found himself caught in the midst of the battle.
The war on Instagram initially began when some of Justin’s fans attacked his new gal pal, Sofia Richie. He threatened to make his Instagram account private, after which Selena shocked everyone by suddenly sounding off, reported Us Weekly.
“Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad.”
Selena seemed to strike a sardonic note by adding that the situation struck her as “sad,” softening the blow with “all love.”
The hashtag #SelenaEndedJustinParty turned into a Twitter party almost immediately, but the drama wasn’t over.
Justin then responded to those allegations of cheating from the “Kill ‘Em With Kindness” singer by claiming that Gomez had cheated on him with Zayn.
“I cheated.. oh I forgot about You and Zayn?”
If this sounds like déjà vu all over again, Selena had previously made what was thought to be a joke about dating Zayn. Meanwhile, the former One Direction singer currently is involved in a romance with model Gigi Hadid.
“If he had asked me out on a date, I would be seen with him,” confessed Gomez. “Just kidding, but not kidding.”
Adding to the intrigue, Taylor Swift, who is Selena’s close pal, dated Malik’s former band buddy, Harry Styles, which, if the timing had been right, might have made for a double date to remember.
While Gomez seemed to be joking in her comments about Zayn, her romantic relationship with Bieber has gone through some dramatic highs and lows. The couple known as Jelena (Justin + Selena) sustained a rocky romance until November 2014. Even after that, Justin sent Jelena fans into a tizzy by following Gomez on Instagram in June again.
It’s never a good situation when a woman discovers that her guy just might have been hooking up with someone else, but it’s dramatically worse when the entire world seems to know about the claims of cheating. That’s precisely the situation faced by Gigi in the wake of the claims that Gomez had cheated on Bieber with Malik, pointed out Hollywood Life.
But Malik rushed to do damage control, an insider told Hollywood Life. The singer reassured Hadid that he has just one woman in his life when it comes to romance, and that’s his supermodel girlfriend.
“The only woman on Zayn’s mind is Gigi, and he’s made it clear to her as well that nothing ever happened between him and Selena,” shared the source. “Zayn thinks the cheating rumor is ridiculous. He’s only ever been friends with Selena and that’s it.”
Life & Style claimed, however, that Gigi had issued an ultimatum to Malik to end all contact with Gomez, a report that Gossip Cop investigated. Life & Style alleged that Hadid and her boyfriend were having problems in their relationship because he is friendly with Selena, citing a source who claimed that the model was upset after she saw him texting Gomez.
“Gigi has seen [Zayn] texting Selena several times, and she is not OK with it.”
The insider also alleged that when Hadid saw Gomez’s name on his phone, she “confronted” Malik, ordering him to cut off his contact with Selena or their relationship was over.
“He’s following Gigi’s orders because he doesn’t want to lose her,” added the source.
However, Gossip Cop‘s source denied those claims and said that Hadid had never ordered Zayn to cut off his friendship with Gomez.
