Brad Pitt Is Opening A Luxury Resort Amid Angelina Jolie Divorce Rumors
Brad Pitt has big future plans — and they don’t appear to involve his wife, Angelina Jolie.
As rumors continue to make the rounds claiming Brad Pitt engaged in an on-set fling with Marion Cotillard, which will ultimately lead to the end of his marriage, a new report has confirmed the 52-year-old actor will soon be opening a luxury resort in Croatia.
“Brad Pitt is the latest celebrity to enter the hospitality industry by building a new luxury resort in Croatia, complete with a hotel, villas, restaurants, shops and a golf course,” Conde Nast Traveler revealed to readers on September 6. “The massive development, set in the small coastal town of Zablace, is set to cost more than $1.5 billion.”

Days ago, People Magazine told readers that Brad Pitt had taken a quick trip to Croatia to visit the site of a proposed $1.5 billion luxury real estate development deal. During his trip, Pitt went on a boat tour as well as a walking tour with 10 others of the site on the Adriatic coast.
Brad Pitt’s trip out of the country comes just a short time after he and wife Angelina Jolie celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary with a hotel stay at the Beverly Hills Hotel. As Us Weekly reported last month, Brad Pitt and his wife enjoyed a low-key anniversary celebration at the five-star resort, where they enjoyed a dinner date and spent the night away from their hectic home life with their six children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8.
While the magazine source claimed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie keep their romance alive with frequent hotel stays, another report, shared by Celebrity Dirty Laundry days ago, suggested that the passion between Pitt and his wife is evaporating. The report then claimed that despite their alleged marriage troubles, Jolie wasn’t prepared to call it quits with Brad Pitt because she was desperate to remain in the public eye.
“Angelina Jolie’s competitive nature means she always needs the spotlight on her, whether she’s on the red carpet or on secret overseas trips making statements about the ongoing refugee crisis in the Middle East and Africa,” the outlet told readers.
“Considering how Angelina Jolie’s Hollywood career is over, the only thing the actress has left is her public opinion and that’s why she’s not willing to pull a Brad Pitt divorce just yet.”
According to the report, Jolie will be fighting hard to reclaim the passion she and Brad Pitt once shared — “even if she has to fake it both on and off the cameras,” the outlet noted.

In other Brad Pitt news, the actor continues to be linked to Marion Cotillard, his co-star for the film Allied. Back in March, a source spoke to In Touch Weekly magazine, claiming that Brad Pitt’s wife had grown extremely resentful towards Cotillard, who had been spending tons of time filming with Pitt in London.
As the source revealed, Jolie was jealous not only of Cotillard’s on-set relationship with Brad Pitt but also of her career accomplishments.
The source went on to reveal that after over a decade with Jolie, Brad Pitt was ready to file for divorce due to Jolie’s insane jealousy over his relationship with Cotillard. Meanwhile, Jolie reportedly felt that because her relationship with Pitt began on-set, he could ultimately fall in love with another woman in the same way that they hit it off while filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
