‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 8 Spoilers: Michael Trevino Returning As Tyler Lockwood
The Vampire Diaries Season 8 premieres in just a few months on The CW network. Even though it is the final season for the show, executive Julie Plec is trying to bring everyone back. One familiar face is confirmed to return. Michael Trevino is reprising his role as Tyler Lockwood in TVD. Find out when he first appears in the upcoming season.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the executive producer wants to bring back everyone in the final season of TVD. The most talked about possible return is Nina Dobrev, who portrayed Elena Gilbert. According to Entertainment Weekly, Michael Trevino is confirmed to reprise his role as Tyler Lockwood in The Vampire Diaries. In addition to news of his return, there are also details about which episode he will first appear in and who he encounters first.
The publication reported that Trevino would first appear in Season 8, Episode 3. He comes across Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder), who isn’t in the best shape. As fans recall from The Vampire Diaries Season 7 finale, Damon and Enzo (Michael Malarkey) were affected by the creature inside the Vault. TVD spoilers tease that Damon will be forced to perform gruesome executions. There are a lot of people being punished, and they all have done something horrible. At least, that is what Sybil believes and Damon is the one that has to torture and kill them.
When Tyler encounters Damon in The Vampire Diaries Season 8, he will try to reason with the vampire. Lockwood will attempt to remind Salvatore of who and what is important. However, Damon has never really listened to Tyler in the past. There is a good chance that he probably won’t listen now.

The last time TVD fans saw Tyler Lockwood, Damon was using him as a punching bag. Salvatore really did a number on him, but Tyler survived. Now, he is the person who oversees Elena Gilbert’s body, which is in a deep slumber. It is unknown if Tyler will be in other episodes of The Vampire Diaries or if this is a one-time appearance.
According to Melty, the titles of the first three episodes of Season 8 were revealed. The first is titled “Hello, Brother.” Episode 2 is called “Today Will Be Different.” The third episode, which Trevino will appear in is titled “You Decided That I Was Worth Saving.” With Tyler Lockwood coming back in Episode 3, is the title a hint of what kind of role he will play in The Vampire Diaries? Is it possible that it won’t be Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley), Elena Gilbert, or Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham) that save Damon and Enzo, but Tyler? It is a far-fetched theory, but anything is possible.
Other spoilers for The Vampire Diaries Season 8 include it being confirmed that Sybil is the monster in the Vault. She is the same one who affected Damon and Enzo. Also, Sybil will have eyes for Stefan, according to TV Guide. It was teased that Caroline Forbes (Candice King) may have to fight to save her relationship with Stefan. This is not good news for “Steroline” fans who waited so long for the two to get back together. Hopefully, they will have a good ending.
