‘Big Brother 18’ Spoilers: One Showmance Is Doomed Inside ‘BB18’ House

Big Brother 18 spoilers from early Monday morning (September 5) spell doom for a showmance. The BB18 house has been packed with showmances this summer, with three that immediately jump out to CBS viewers and fans watching on the live feeds. A report from fan site Joker’s Updates relays the information that the relationship between James Huling and Natalie Negrotti may be at a crossroads. This is despite how it may have looked during the September 4 episode of the show.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the Week 11 Veto competition already took place. It was a last chance for Natalie or James to win the Power of Veto and potentially create a situation where one of them was no longer a nominee. Head of Household Victor Arroyo had targeted Natalie and James for eviction, dictating that the duo was likely about to get split up. Then Corey Brooks won the Veto, securing the power for that side of the BB18 house, and predicting that the nominations were going to stay the same at the Veto ceremony.

Many previous Big Brother 18 spoilers had Natalie Negrotti and James Huling discussing how the week was going to progress. James had even stated that if he won the Veto, he was going to use it to save Natalie. She made a similar statement a bit later, but it ended up not mattering much when Corey won the Power of Veto. This is where it got a bit interesting for fans watching on the CBS live feeds as Natalie had several conversations (alone) with Paul Abrahamian and Victor Arroyo about how the final five would look.

Natalie told James that she was campaigning to get evicted, thus saving James to allow him to go on in the game. That wasn’t what was being discussed in the HOH room, though, and it’s something that James finally became aware of when Paul and Victor invited him upstairs for a chat. Paul primarily wanted to know how he became the target previously, and what led to Paulie Calafiore getting evicted. Natalie told Paul that she had received “bad advice” from James in the situation, which was news to James when Paul told him early Monday morning.

At the heart of these Big Brother 18 spoilers, Natalie Negrotti has been trying to convince Paul Abrahamian and Victor Arroyo that it was James Huling who said Nicole Franzel and Corey Brooks were coming after him. Victor stated that it seemed like Natalie was trying to “throw James under the bus” by making those comments at this point of the game, and James was clearly miffed about the misinformation that had been spread around the BB18 house. This was not news that James wanted to hear as he was starting to figure out Natalie had not been honest with him.

Paul certainly went into this conversation with James with ulterior motives. He had spoken to Victor about putting a wedge between James and Natalie, possibly as a way to make sure that the duo didn’t vote against him as members of the BB18 jury. He didn’t lie when he was relaying information about what Natalie had said in the HOH room, but he also didn’t really sugarcoat it to spare James and his feelings. Immediately following the conversation, when James was spending time with Natalie in the backyard, it was very obvious that he was viewing the showmance differently.

So what happens at this point? Natalie has told James that he is her “soulmate” in previous conversations, but it has started to appear more and more like she has been using him to get ahead in this game. Natalie could decide to self-evict if she really wants to put James into the final five, but she doesn’t appear likely to take that route. Either Natalie or James will become the sixth member of the BB18 jury on Thursday night (September 8), but future Big Brother 18 spoilers may give a better look at how this showmance progresses or dissolves after the latest betrayal by Natalie.
