Pippa Middleton’s Finances In A Slump? Gains Financial Stability In Marriage To Matthews

Pippa Middleton has found herself in a very comfortable situation now that she’s engaged to wealthy and successful James Matthews. The hedge fund manager, who has dated Pippa on and off for nearly a decade, finally won the beauty’s heart. But was the Duchess’ sister won over merely for love or was she in need of a well-to-do man to rescue her from her financial woes?

The Daily Mail shares about the severe cut in earnings Pippa has experienced over the past year, which suggests she may have been in need of a man to help to keep her reputation as Duchess Kate’s accomplished younger sister.

“It’s lucky Pippa Middleton is marrying a millionaire as her business isn’t looking as healthy as she is. Her company accounts reveal that she made a mere £50,000 last year, a fall of £65,000 after posting a profit of £115,000 the year before.”

Pippa is actually the sole shareholder of PXM Enterprises, a company which manages all of her publishing projects and activities. This would include all supposed earning from her party planning book Celebrate, which was quite a flop.

Pippa is also ready to promote a cookbook, which she revealed details about last month, yet the 32-year-old shares that all profits will go to the British Heart Foundation. No profits to pocket from that initiative means that Middleton is quite fortunate to have a fiance who manages more than $1 billion worth of investments.

Unfortunately, although Pippa and most of her immediate family are content with the engagement to Matthews, news that royal sister Kate and the Queen are not entirely pleased is circulating. Rumors indicate that Kate is aware of Queen Elizabeth’s worries about how James Matthews’ family’s reputation may result in negative press for the royals. The worry mainly stems from Spencer Matthews carrying on while on a reality TV show. The younger brother to James is apparently quite open and eager to share details with the media, and the Queen worries about repercussions that may affect Kate and Prince William.

Celebrity Dirty Laundry shares in regard to these rumors that are circulating involving the Queen’s negative view of the union between Matthews and Pippa Middleton.

“James Matthews’ brother Spencer Matthews already has an established reputation as a reality television star with a troubled past and very loose lips when it comes to the tabloid media. The last thing Queen Elizabeth needs is for any of Kate Middleton and Prince William’s secrets to be splashed all over the tabloids, thanks to Spencer Matthews. There’s a good chance that Pippa Middleton knows this and that’s why she’s been keeping her distance not only from the royals, but from the media altogether.”

The publication reminds that Kate and Pippa’s mother Carole Middleton has loved lapping up all the attention in the spotlight since her eldest daughter became a royal, and indicates that tacking on the reputation of the Matthews family to that of the Middletons could spell negative press for the royals in the near future.

Although the rumors keep being churned out about Pippa and James, the beauty has kept a very low profile since announcing her engagement to Matthews at the end of July. The two are likely planning an extravagant event to say their I dos, yet speculation is suggesting that there may be tension between Kate and Pippa over the role that the Duchess will play in the ceremony, if she is to play one at all. We all remember the coming out party that acting as Kate’s maid of honor was for Pippa. Yet royal experts state that it is unlikely that Kate will be asked to return the favor so she does not steal attention from the bride.
